** Update **The pillow continues to function as described. It has not broken down. Still requires "fluffing", and has retained its quality. My dad is the one who uses it - and so far he states that it is not his holy grail of pillows, but is DEFINITELY better than any standard pillow, hands down. Is it better than other "premium pillows" - yes - better than a solid memory foam pillow in his opinion, however, he has not compared it to "My Pillow". Has it solved his neck/spine issues? No. But no pillow has to date, and he doubts that any pillow could. I plan to covertly swap this pillow with a "My Pillow" without telling him, to see if he detects a difference. As the laundry-doer of this family - and someone who spent a lot of time handling the "My Pillow" while on a visit to Bed Bath Beyond - I can say, without hesitation, that the quality of Bamboo ultra plush memory foam pillow EXCEEDS "My Pillow" in construction and quality. I would buy this pillow over My Pillow on that element alone. Stay tuned for further updates.--------------------------------------So far so good...First - this pillow has never had any odor that some people have mentioned, and was easy to remove some of the filling to customize the firmness level.The only other effort you will have to make is that Bamboo ultra plush memory foam Pillow requires daily "fluffing" to get the foam pieces to re-configure back into a full pillow shape, otherwise it stays "squished" into the "slept in" shape. It re-shapes VERY nicely!My mom bought it for my dad as a gift, who is very skeptical of all expensive pillows, as none have passed "the test" for him thus far.I wouldn't call this the Holy Grail of Pillows - but - there have been NO complaints, and he seems to be sleeping better since giving it a try. He has extreme upper back & neck issues (pain) - and I do believe this pillow HAS NOT AGGRAVATED his condition, which is THE goal for us. He's not expecting a miracle or a cure for his pain, just COMFORT and improved quality of sleep, and I believe this pillow has definitely provided that.We definitely recommend!*Saving a 5 star rating for the Holy Grail Pillow - whenever that day may come.

I ordered this pillow because I wanted something firm that would not get flat after a brief period of use. I've had this pillow for a few months and am comfortable testifying that the pillow has met my expectations. As others have noted, when you first get it, it does have a smell, but that didn't bother me. It went away after a few days or perhaps I don't notice it anymore. It is firm and softens after some use. Fluffing it when I change my sheets helps it to stay the way I like it. I recommend this pillow if you're looking for a heavy, firm pillow. I sleep much better now.

After struggling with pillows going flat so quickly or just not supporting my neck/head well, I started using shredded memory foam pillows & they have been amazing. They last so much longer without losing the support that I need. This particular pillow was purchased for my teenage son & it has helped the quality of sleep that he gets. He used to use multiple pillows & I worried about how it was affecting him. This pillow helps to keep him cooler as well as sleep longer!

The product description does not equal the actual item. It is described as being plush but is nowhere anything but plush. When questioning the seller about that, they said the bamboo cover is plush but that is not what my head is touching. Everyone uses a pillowcase! They did not follow up on my dissatisfaction of my purchase. The pillow is hard and not comfortable to sleep on at all. As a matter of fact, I woke up in the middle of the night because my ear was sore. That has never happened before from any other pillow I have slept on. I don't know how they can say that it relieves snoring,insomnia, asthma, neck pain, TMJ, migraines. That seems like false advertising to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I bought this pillow in 2015, and I still use it every night. I miss it whenever I have to use someone else's pillow. I do not regret this purchase at all. HOWEVER, it is pretty annoying that it seems perpetually lopsided. The space where I lay my head at night always dips too far down and I have to keep flipping it around to get my head at the right height again. I have tried several times to fluff it back to normal, but to no avail. This is the only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five. Overall, I still love this pillow. It is a decent quality for a decent price (and this is coming from a college student).

I really enjoy my Bamboo Pillow. It's not bulky or heavy yet it's very supportive to my neck and upper back whenever I use it to watch t.v. For sleeping, it is also very supportive and it doesn't seem to get hot. Recently, had visitors and they made very positive comments about these Bamboo pillows. (And, comments were made without me asking anything in regards to these pillows.) I'd highly recommend to anyone and just noticed the price drop to$19.99 from $26.99 I paid a few months back. I'm going to order some more now.

These are very nice. I love the "ultra plush" ones. I bought one, loved it, and clicked buy again,thinking that was the best way to make sure I got the same thing. I failed to notice the words "ultra plush" were missing from the name and they were not the same 1 no removable zippered cover 2 harder pillow (too hard to suit me) 3 the other one had little fine nylon "hairs" coming thru the ticking (maybe because they aren't double bagged) I had to buy a third pillow to have two for my bed.
