Dorman 85684 GM Black Wire Boot Alternator Universal Fit

Fits my old gm perfect

The boot worked well for the starter connection on my motorcycle. I just had to cut away a small amount of rubber to make it large enough to get the cable through. It's a good general purpose boot.

Cheap quick fix. Was able to trim it a bit to make it fit snug on the hot terminal. Ideally wouldnt have had to trim at all but was needed here as the eyelet is bigger than THE GM it is designed for. Alternator is on a 1990 nissan.

Fit over 67 chevy alternator (ext regulator) output terminal, red plastic insulator, just fine. I had to cut the connector off and push the wire through the boot and crimp and solder a new terminal on. No more short worries working under the hood. Always disconnect battery when replacing this part.
