The previous pop up waste in my cloakroom sink had jammed. Looking for a replacement I came upon this product and its excellent reviews so decided to buy it. It was shipped from Germany and it absolutely oozes top quality. Before ordering it I'd watched a few You Tube reviews that all stressed how hard it was to seal wastes effectively and offered different solutions to overcome it from using Plumbers Mait or PFTE tape in preference to silicone sealant. I know why! My old waste had been sealed with silicone sealant by the plumber who'd fitted it and it was a time consuming nightmare to remove. I cut most of it away and then resorted to White Spirit to remove the rest, practically asphyxiating myself in the process. When I had finally removed it all I fitted this Premium waste. Wow! Using two of its innovative seals (and it comes with a replacement set too) , I fitted it without using any supplementary sealant. Then I filled the sink and it sealed perfectly first time. No leaks, no mess to remove if I ever do need to replace it and it works perfectly. If ever there was an argument for only getting the best, buying this quality pop up waste is it! I rarely write product reviews but just had to for this.

This waste is very good quality. It is sturdy built and heavier than other waste models. The installation is a breeze. Forget about “plumbers gold “ , “plumbers mait” , silicon or any other putty. The waste seals perfectly without the need of additional compounds. I installed two of these as a direct replacement of the old plug type wastes and both work perfectly. The secret is in the seals. These wastes seals are made of silicon unlike the normal ones that are made of rubber or foam. I will not be disappointed with this waste.

This is a good quality product - easy to fit without any tools but a wrench to give it a little tighten is useful. Looks great. Spare seals a good touch

Thanks to those who answered my question on where the top top sealing washer should go. I put it on top of the sink and it is working fine - now leaks up to now, touch wood. This replaced another click clack that had literally started falling to bits. I had to go out and buy a new trap because I couldn’t unscrew part of the old plug because it had disintegrated so much. This seems solid, and was easy to fit. The instructions aren’t clear in the leaflet you get and I think they are wrong because it shows both washers being fitted below the sink. Surprising if it’s made in Germany that they have made such a basic error. It comes with spare washers but i still haven’t worked out what the black one is for.

Fitted this myself in August it replaced one that had become blocked at the cross location point, This one is easy to remove just turn the top anti clockwise and you can see into the inside making it very easy to remove build up of soap or hair which causes most blockages. This iTem is worth the higher price because of its quality and as a plus it is supplied with replacement seals.

This one has been properly engineered to be installed only using the supplied seals. I did it using just my hands. I didn't even tighten as much as I could with my hands (don't want to distort the seals).And it just works. No leaks. The reason is obvious: There is no thread for the water to follow and escape through. Unlike all the other awful implementations that require heroics and additional materials to, maybe, not leak.I'd not bother with any other type. Any saved money (if any in the end) is not worth it.There were extra seals for the basin (not sure why), and one extra for the popup (good idea, more of those would have been even better), and an extra alternative seal for the bottle trap (I think), in case it needs a thicker seal to allow the trap to tighten up on the short-ish thread on the bottom of the waste (I believe). I used the standard seal the bottle trap came with.What a relief with something that actually works!

I have fitted quite a few sink waste/plugs in my time and they invariably leak a bit when first fitted. I have used PTfe tape, plumbers mate, plumbers gold and numerous other types of silicon in order to stop that pesky leak. I have successfully used a really good tapered rubber seal on porcelain sinks, but This time I was fitting the waste to a composite cast sink with a flat base so the tapered rubber seal would not work.I read the reviews and took a chance on the Rosenfeld sink waste. Ordered Friday, arrived Sunday and fitted Monday with no leaks! I admit I could not stop myself using a bit of PTfe tape, but other than that, I just fitted it with the seals provided. It looks and feels like a good quality product.

If you need a replacement pop-up basic waste, this is probably the best one around just now. There are many like this, but most will leak unless you seal them with silicone. Some don't clear water well, are built cheap, don't look ro feel so good, or come with enough fixings. This one does it all. As others have said, you can connect it without silicone and the top and bottom connections have double O-rings which seal well and don't seem to leak even without silicone. There are also spare O-rings in the box.The thing is weighty and feels of quality.Love it.

Ziet er perfect uit en hoop dat het past in mijn nieuwe wastafels , die ik heb besteld maar nog niet geleverd zijn !

Piletta di scarico per lavabo e troppo pieno, cromata a click clack , valvola di scarico universale in ottone, si monta effettivamente senza attrezzi, con facilità. L'ho avvitato con le mani.Purtroppo nelle istruzioni non si trova una parola in italiano, nemmeno a cercarla con la lente di ingrandimento. E' robusta e sembra fatta molto bene. Buone le guarnizioni di tenuta in silicone. Il meccanismo per il pop-up della chiusura sembra robusto.PRO- Facile da montare grazie alle guarnizioni in silicone di forma particolare. Si serra a mano- Robusta- Ottimo rapporto qualità\prezzo- Set di guarnizioni di ricambio- Click clack per aprire e chiudereCONTRO- Istruzioni solo in lingua tedesca, inglese e francese. Manca l'italianoCONCLUSIONEDa consigliare, realizzato con cura, migliore di quello che ha sostituito nello scarico del lavandino.Spero di essere stato utile.

Algo caro en comparación con lo que puedes encontrar en la ferretería de tu barrio. Tiene un diseño y acabados estupendos, en general diría que es un buen producto, pero en la ferretería me enseñaron lo mismo por 8€.No se ajustaba a lo que necesitaba por un tema de medidas en el desagüe, así que lo he tenido que devolver.

Super produit, tout simplement remarquable : vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !!!!!! Après avoir tenté plusieurs autres modèles en vain, notamment ceux qui étaient livrés avec les mitigeurs, après avoir testé le mastic spécialement conçu pour l'étanchéité sanitaire d'une bonde (échec cuisant), je peux vous assurer que ce produit est un véritable bijou !
