A good way to start your journey to better understanding
This book takes you on a journey starting with the historical texts and traditions of the 3 Abrahamic religions, exploring some inconsistencies within these texts and then encourages you to think about your understandings, beliefs and more importantly, your relationships with others (both within and outside your faith group). What I found very refreshing was the conclusion - very heartfelt and certainly not bound by the confinement of the usual institutional boundaries.I quote "Religions go astray when they contribute more to human suffering than they do to human healing"Excellent book for anyone wanting to explore or reflect on relationships with people from different faith traditions

Interfaith can lead to unity
Unless you are a fundamentalist or fanatic, you know that religious behavior can make people act strangely and even dangerously. But Interfaith offers a way to change focus from the doctrines and dogmas that lead toward division, to the commonality and compassion that lead toward unity. A valid alternative to abandoning religion altogether.

Their core values of love, peace and so on are very good but ...
Their core values of love, peace and so on are very good but they interpret scripture to sell why peace and love are the way to go.They cannot discredit scripture from all three of their religions to sell their point of view. Deciding which interpenetration is correct is impossible. I did like the idea were are hardwired to seek peace and love.

Creating Enormous Hope and Optimism in the Midst of this Changing Global Climate
This book was very refreshing, especially at this juncture of time in our world. Giving good honest information from different religious points of view and then going beyond to find and share compelling authentic human experiences one with another, ones of compassion, genuinely heart centered, standing in justice fairness and reverence for one another on this earth..... I found so refreshing, hopeful and real...thank you for writing this book. My heart needed it!

Excellent
Have read both "Getting to the Heart of Interfaith" and this book by the Interfaith Amigos, as well as attended one of their talks. These men present honest, heartfelt views of living a life with God and finding common ground for all of God's people. They're honest about their differences and provide ways to work around the differences and an appreciation for all sincere faith traditions. Highly recommend these books.

Religion Gone Astray
The writers from three different faiths are very persuasive. They show their commonalities in their beliefs and where they differ from the church/temple where they are/were leaders.
