Awesome
I purchased this as a replacement for an older Numark mixer and it is awesome. Love the USB feature, which makes it worth the price over the Encore 1000. Have not gotten to use the MIDI features yet, but looking forward to doing so. Only issue I have is the lack of microphone ports, but to solve that issue, I purchased a separate mic mixer.

Doesn't Stand the Test of TIme
Other reviewers must have not used this for any great length of time.I purchased this unit in 2013 to use as a backup & ceremony/cocktail music when they were ina separate room. I have used it a total of 20 times.Microphone jack on it NEVER worked correctly.Sound card is ok at best.Using USB ports - song selection is slow & I only have 30 songs on the flash drive.Now the cd players are beginning to act up.Save your money & look for another alternative.

Nice Piece Of Equipment
Nice Mixer over all, not too big, not too small. Has a nice high quality output sound and controls.I am not a DJ at all, just got it for having parties at home mostly. The reason why i chose this one is because is an ALL-IN-ONE system. It has plenty of inputs already built-in, such as TWO CD players and USB connections, this way i avoid having to connect additional external hardware such as CD players, which means that i am not going to have a bunch of cables all over the place comming from different sources. Very portable configuration and i am very happy with it.

great piece of equipment
I gave it a 4 not a 5 because it's a bit tricky to learn for beginners. Once you learn it, great piece of equipment.
