Dungeon Crawl Classics Lankhmar Boxed Set

Grew up reading Fritz Leiber’s tales of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser! Love that DCC made this rpg product. This box set is filled with everything you need to bring to life Lankhmar and the world of Nehwon. A wonderful inclusion is a code to get the pdfs.

What I like, is that the product arrived undamaged---which doesn't always happen with loose leaf hardcover books I purchase here.

I didn't want to buy this because of the $59.99 price. I kept looking at it and reviews for it. I gave in and bought it. It is well worth the price. So much quality content. It arrived with a small ding/tear on the top right corner of the box (for company that started out as a book company, amazon sucks at shipping books) which was a little disappointing. Free PDF of the set was awesome as well. I've become a DCC fanboy.

This is a very well done boxed set. It reminds me of the AD&D boxed sets from 2nd edition, except better. If you're a fan of the World of Greyhawk this product has a similar feel , of course the focus is on the city. But this would fit perfectly in the Greyhawk world. I'll be buying more from Goodman Games and soon!

If you are a fan of the Lankhmar stories or if you've never read them, this is a fantastic setting. They include a list of the stories that are most appropriate for people new to the world of Nehwon. Fleeting Luck and the Luck healing mechanics are fantastic. Goodman Games knocks it out of the park as always. I thoroughly recommend this!

I started a DCC campaign a couple of months ago with some friends, and needed a direction to take it. This is delivering a hundred fold. I'll be able to run these guys up and beyond level ten easily. Really, really happy with this investment.

The campaign setting is fantastic and does a great job of setting the tone of Fritz Leiber's Lankhmar. The box is packed with lots of goodies, however it may be over packed because the first box that was sent had 1 corner split on the top and two on the bottom. The replacement had three splits as well and another corner close to tearing.

Very impressed with the box set. Its contents we're as advertised and very much worth the money. I can't wait to run a game in Lankhmar and maybe even have a party cross paths with Fafhrd and The Gray Mouser.
