Suction is fanominal. Dust cup is easy to clean out.If using for hair on hard floors you have to clean out the carpet spinner after about two uses or it will stop picking up dirt and will clog up.

I love this model so much I purchased an upgrade. I have lived in my home for about 10 years and for most of it I had this vacuum. It finally went out. I tried to purchase another brand vacuum, I won't say which one, ended returning it because it suctioned nothing. I searched for the old model Hoover I had. I saw they now offer this newer model and the filter and parts fit from that old model fit as a matter of fact they are the same. So I stripped the filters, canister, and belt off of the old one and ordered this new one, and I can use the parts as spares/ replacements. I am too happy about that. I recommend this vacuum and Hoover products in general. I grew up with Hoover in the house and I still own one today.

So, I'm a dork and I love my vacuum more than most things in my house. This is my second one. The first one lasted FOREVER with 2 black labs and 2 toddlers shedding and destroying the floors and carpet but I never replaced the filter and therefore I cut it's lifespan in half. Now I have a 2nd one (after buying a slightly less expensive alternative and hating it) and I purchased filters to change out. It's really really easy to change them and you can get a 3 pack on Amazon here for less than $10 each. The vacuum is lightweight, has a super long attachment that you can hold in one hand while carrying the compartment area very easily. It's not clunky or annoying. It's not too loud and the suction power is insane, especially on the attachments. It even comes with a nice little case to hang the attachments in in your closet. Highly recommend this one!

I read some reviews saying it was a great vacuum and others saying it didn't work well. For 6 months I worked as a maintenance worker at a large hotel. During my time there I worked on sharks, oreck, sanitary and hoover. Shark are complete garbage, oreck are reliable but don't work all that well and sanitary are great all around vacuums. Hoover I had mixed feelings about, but this hoover has been pretty good. Has pretty good suction, I think the lines may be a little small so they get clogged easy. It's very easy to manuever and light weight. The attachments work great And seem to be decent quality. I believe if this vacuum was made anywhere other than China or Mexico it would be a better quality and perhaps the few things I don't like about it would be improved. This vacuum is by far better than shark and oreck but sanitary is a better all around vacuum if you don't mind spending a little more cash.

we love this vacuum so much that we are on our second one. they don't last forever but we got six years out of the last one and we have two cats, a dog and a 4500 square foot house. I use it for carpets, hardwood and tile. its super easy to clean out- dump from the top which i like SO much better than the stupid designs that dump from the bottom but you don't realize that until you've dumped dirt all over your clean floor. Is very lightweight which is important to me and maneuvers easily. I gave one to my mommy too, as she has health issues and needs something easy and lightweight. i give this product 4 stars because, lets face it, its $130 vacuum but I think it's worth every penny.

Man I cannot tell you enough how much I love this vacuum this is the second one that I've had the first one I put through hell and back and man it's still has the suction power of a champ but you can only do so much to a vacuum before it ultimately catches on fire when you are vacuuming out your car in the rain a little FYI in case other girls boyfriends don't know that already had to get a new one love it love it love it

This vacuum had goodish suction for the first use. The second use was poor. I took it apart to try to see what was wrong. The design was not well thought out.. The material used was cheap.

This is my second hoover wind tunnel. I had my first one for over 10 years. The first one I had the suction was so strong that even after 10 years & a bunch of holes poked in the hose (my own fault) it still out performed my dyson. I decided to buy a new one, exactly the same as my old one. Still light weight & easy to use, although I feel like the suction might me slightly less than my original one. Still has great suction and I am very happy, I'll probably buy another one in 10 years.

On the plus Plus side, very compact and powerfulBut... very noisy. Very heavy. AND the tube option is not practical. U have to hook it up and detach it every time u wanna use it. So u cant go back and forth between using the tube and the main vacuum easily. But still. Works for now.

I really wanted to love this vacuum, I had done lots of research on which vacuum to get and the reviews on this seemed decent and the price was up my alley. With 2 dogs I wanted to make sure I got one that thoroughly picked up the pesky fur. Boy was I wrong. Right from the start I had nothing but problems. It started giving off a burning smell during the first 5 minutes of its life and made weird noises as if the motor was dying. I cleaned out the brush head to make sure nothing was caught, reset it and cleaned out the canister just in case (even though there was barely any dirt in there), but to no avail. I talked to a Hoover agent and they said it’s normal to have a bad smell since it’s new. I kept on vacuuming and barely made it 2 minutes before I noticed it wasn’t doing much on my 5x7 area rug. There was definitely hair wrapped around the brush and it took me longer to clean that than it would’ve to clean my entire house. My husband also took a look at it and said the motor underneath the canister was sparking. Will be returning ASAP. Not even worth the headache of fixing it.
