ClairolNice 'N Easy Non-Permanent Hair Color 79 Dark Brown 1 Kit

For years I used L'Oreal Color Spa with great results, then as with all good products it was discontinued. I bought everything I could find and finally ran out. Clairol seemed the best alternative for a grown-up hair color.I don't have a lot of extra time and often go longer between colorings than would be recommended for a permanent hair color which is why the wash away color is so great. It fades as the roots grow out and there is no distinct root line between the colored and my non-colored salt and pepper hair. I didn't mind that my hair is a little more gray, it would look natural.Clairol Nice n Easy "Non-Permanent" Hair color seems to be Permanent. It's been almost 3 months and my hair is still dull and jet black - except for my salt and pepper roots which stands out against the colored hair like a flashing sign. I've been washing my hair almost daily trying to fade the color with no luck.As I mentioned above the color is not dark brown - it's jet "shoe polish" black with no shine. One plus is that there is no harsh smell. Right now I'm torn, because I want to get rid of my grey roots, but I can't find a Non-Permanent color that I trust.

Been using this great product for years. Can you help me to re-order this non- permanent color 79 brown now.

Like the end result. The color has lasted very well. I use a mild shampoo designed especially for color treated hair. I do not wash my hair every day. So far is has done as well as any salon color I have had done.

My hair is a level 8 blonde naturally. After approximately 60 washes, this dye had not faded. I processed it with bleach, and it still is not back to it's original color. I would avoid purchasing unless you are after a permanent hair color.

Needed a quick dye job for a job interview. Color looked great but it made my hair feel like very dry and had some breakage. Not the worst, but have had better experiences with other out of the box brands.

Every one of these I bought , the bottles just cracked and broke when I was putting it on my hair !! I kept trying because I thought maybe I got some old bottles or something, but every single one I bought cracked and broke and I had a mess !! I will never buy any more !! So very disappointed!!

wanted color that's gentle- but I LOVE the conditioner, wish I could but the conditioner itself! Another product that been discontinued! Thank goodness for Amazon!

Not fading as quickly as I was hoping but it did color my hair mostly even. Few spots were a little lighter.
