He loves it!
I bought this for my husband who was looking to make his own espresso while on the road, ie at hotels, etc. He also got a "Mokka" maker for stovetop, (or portable induction burner), a Bialetti Kitty. He was thrilled! The grinder did a fine job of grinding the coffee and he could adjust the grind to whatever fineness he chose, and it is lightweight and portable, for easy travel. With quality coffee beans, he said the coffee was a bit different from our home espresso machine, but a perfect substitute. A coffee grinder that doesn't overheat the beans (which creates bitterness in the coffee) is a wonderful home or travelling companion. Thank you!

Spend the money, get something better
It worked alright for a few months, but then something in it broke and will no longer grind coffee. I do not recommend this grinder if you are going to use it on a regular basis. It is cheap for a reason. If you need something that you can use every day then spend the money and get a more quality grinder.

I am satisfied with this purchase
After a week, I am satisfied with this purchase.Takes about 1.5 minutes to grind enough for my french press.There is only one local coffee roaster that will grind the beans coarsely for me (and he's only open 2 days a week), so it's nice to have an option to do it myself without the purchase of another electrical appliance.

if you like your coffee strong get ready to crank
This product works well however, if you like your coffee strong get ready to crank! I had to fill two full barrels to brew a pot of coffee and it took forever. If I used this every day I would have forearms of steel.

This is an excellent coffee grinder
This is an excellent coffee grinder. I bought it so I can start making some cold brew at home. I got tired of paying over $5 for a good cup of coffee. After I started making my own coffee at home and saving so much money, I wanted to do everything I can to make the best coffee. That required me to buy my own beans and get a grinder. I did not want to spend much on this new coffee hobby so I bought this manual coffee grinder and it does its job! It is slow and tedious but I also think that it is quite relaxing and therapeutic. I enjoy my coffee a bit more now that I actually have to work for it.
