worst packaging
This item is always delivered in the worst conditions. The box is always crushed and lancets are falling into the shipping bag itself.

Ok but you will have some that will not work
Most of them have worked but in the last couple of days 4 of them have not worked. The needle did not make it to the bottom.

Better than most single use lancets I've tried
These are great lancets. I just tried them for use in conjunction with a Hemocue HB201+ Hemoglobin meter that requires a larger drop of blood (10 microliters) than the newer glucose meters (some of which only need 0.3 microliters).These produce a better capillary sample than the Unistik orange single use lancets with practically no pain (and no residual pain even just a couple of minutes later), where the Unistik puncture site could be felt a day later and didn't always produce a satisfactory sample, occasionally resulting in more than one sore finger.The 23g Mckesson lancet also produced a less than satisfactory sample (needing to squeeze the finger too much to obtain an adequately sized droplet carries the risk of inducing measurement errors due to an increase in interstitial fluid in the sample).The smaller tip of the Medlance Plus also makes it easier to precisely position the puncture site vs a Surgilance and these cost less than the BD Microtainer contact activated lancets.All in all, I highly recommend the Medlance Plus 21g Universal for anyone needing a bigger droplet size, or those with thicker calluses or slow/weak bleeders.
