My wife bought me a Parrot drone for my birthday last year, it was great fun but only lasted around 5 minutes per charge. I really wanted one which could fly faster, higher and longer with GPS capability, a decent camera and automatic return to base.I saw some great reviews about Eachine drones on YouTube and decided to take the plunge. The drone is finished in a rubberised coating and feels extremely robust. It is supplied in a really nice zipped case with protective foam, two batteries, a set of blade guards and a set of replacement blades in case you have a mishap. Once you have downloaded the Eachine app from your app store, you are ready to connect to the drone; you have to switch it on then connect your smartphone to the drone's wifi, next you have to hold it about 50cm from the ground and rotate it clockwise horizontally about 5 times and then 5 times vertically. Once calibration is complete, the drone searches for GPS signal and you're ready to go.Due to the frustratingly miserable weather in the UK I have only been able to fly it a couple of times; once on top of a hill near my home and the second near Poole Harbour. The drone is extremely easy to fly and I can confirm that the stated flying time was exceeded by both of the supplied batteries. There is an indicator on the phone app which tells you how much battery power is remaining on the drone; this is great for letting you know how long you have until the next battery change. The "follow me" feature works very well as does the drone's ability to hold almost motionlessly in a pretty strong wind, and land automatically just 1 metre from the original take-off spot. There is a micro SD card slot underneath the drone, which can be used to record much higher resolution photos and video than the wifi connection allows to the phone. From some online research, I learned that a high speed Class 10 Micro SD card with at least 128MB storage capacity is required to use this feature. I really can't wait for some nice weather to use the drone again! The features compare favourably to the brand-leading drones which retail for over £1000.

This one I can easily pop in my day pack, or even large pockets making it 100x more useful.The batteries last about 12 mins, the video feed is slightly delayed so it's weird for fast fpv, but for video and photos its great. The altitude hold is spot on, way better than the f450. It doesn't waver and stays about 30cm height.The video quality is very good, and range is better than I expected.Very happy with the drone

I got a pair of these drones before Christmas as gifts for my sons. Wanted right balance of features/price/durability and ease of use for price. This drone does not dissapoint. It is really important that an extra battery was included and having the case was great alongside spare roter blades.Set up was very straight forward, though no detailed instruction. Best to do this out doors as needs GPS signal to fly well. Drone appears very sturdy and we have flown it a few times during the holiday period at night and day. Camera is obviously fixed wide angle and manual attitude adjust but images are clear, with minor lag on video. If you want more than this then expect to buy a £900 drone.It does fly very well with easy take of and landing. Copes with modest windy conditions and range is excellent. Battery life is as advertised.I paid less than currently advertised due to pre Christmas discount and very happy with it. My son is taking his drone back to Norway to use whilst on survey with Marine institute. So may update review again. Overall highly recommended. Don't go for cheaper drones, this is a good starter one for teenagers and adults. Eachine seems to be a good choice in this case. Very impressed. I hope they will offer a new year discount!

Fantastic drone with awesome features for the price. Want a dji but can't afford one? This is the one to try first, a fraction of the price but with most of the features found on much more expensive drones. This drone is above the 250g limit so you must register and pass an online test (£9 for 3 years) but that is okay with me as I have other dones that I had to register in order to be able to use them. This is a quarter of the size of my other drones so it won't be possible to use in any wind, the calmer the weather the better the flight.

First drone I've bought. Lots of features for a first timer and for less than £200 as well - I'm impressed.Delivered well ahead of schedule so that is a great bonus.Remote controller feels cheap, but is perfect for what you need. App syncing to drone is easy, Video and pic are bang on target considering prices.Easy to control, Auto-takeoff & landing are nice - as is return to home feature.9/10 overall.

The drone works fine, can be blown way off in windy conditions.The image is not top quality. Great toy for kids and teens.But there's absolutely no info on warranty. Does it come with any warranty at all except the usual 30 day free return?This is left for you to wonder....

Bought as a Christmas for my dad who absolutely loves it. I spent a lot of time looking at various drones and deals on Amazon and this one always stuck out. It’s great beginner drone and the value for money is fantastic as you get a case and an extra battery with it. Really glad I bought this one as a present and would happily buy from this seller again.

Drone is absolutely amazing, I've had other drones but this is amazing even the app is good.
