Delicious with a Touch of Lemon
These are high-quality sardines and are great with crackers and a touch of lemon juice. So good!

Not bad
Good texture, not mushy. Good flavor. While I don't mind the bones (which are very soft) and the skin, and the tails, I don't care for the scales. Too many scales for my preference.

These Don't Stink!
These are high quality sardines! They do not stink! The scent when the can is opened is perhaps that of fresh tuna. I put these in a bowl, with salt, pepper and eat straight out of the bowl! There seemed to be a few fish scales but just inspect and clean off. The skin and bone are left on/in which makes for higher nutrition.

Excellent product!
Sea Castle Sardines in pure olive oil, an excellent Morrocan product, is unfortunately not available currently. Reviewing it nonetheless hopeful that these sardines will be quickly re-stocked. The texture of the sardine is firm and still infused with the flavor of pure olive oil (not sure "virgin", but still excellent). In the meantime, I've ordered Matiz Sardines in Olive Oil, another delicious product, this one from Galicia, Spain. These sardines are even more firm, in slightly less oil than Sea Castle (thus more meat), but still very tasty, approximately $0.70 more per tin than Sea Castle. Both products include 3-4 sardines per tin, so they are a nicely sized. Cannot go wrong with either product.

Taste fine
Good flavor but can be quite messy to open. Use caution.

2nd time was terrible
Ordered this before, and it was pretty good. Not the best compared to Matiz or something, but okay. But the 2nd time these were bitter and awful, make me concerned I ate something bad even. Also seemed more mushy and looked odd.
