You haven't peeled until you've peeled Thai style
I honestly don't know how these aren't more mainstream. I've used one of these peelers for years now to peel everything from thin skinned fruit to potatoes. It handles them all fantastically. The blade is sharp and the safety bar doesn't let you cut too much below the skin. It's faster than a knife and the regular old wobbly potato peelers. This is a fixed blade and solid in the hand. I was happy with this new one (my old one was lost on a trip) though I'll say buying online is a bit more expensive than hitting the asian supermarket. Otherwise, totally worth the convenience.

Don’t waste your money and time.
Don’t waste your money and time.Just garbage. Nothing quality about this knife. Everything about it is cheap. Soo flimsy , the blade is not even fully secure to that cheap cheap plastic handle. This a copy of the original one, that has a logo printed on the blade itself. Save yourself the hassle and skip this trash. You get what you pay for !!

Fast and safe to use -it puts your average potato/vegetable peeler to shame.
Man, where has this thing been all my life? It is so much easier and safer to use than your standard potato/vegetable peeler. I wish I knew about this thing 40 years ago. I will never go back.

metal bends
I had two that were amazing, but my third one, the metal bends very easily. It peels well still, but its only a matter of time before it breaks off of the handle
User
Would gladly pay more for stronger metal
This might be great for peeling kiwi or something similar, but if you are peeling apples, potatoes or god forbid jicama, this thing will bend on you. The blade is not knife-like, its just soft stainless steel with a temporary edge.someday someone will make a legit peeler in this design, till then i am back to just using a paring knife.

Asian culinary tools are where it's at.
This is the only kind of peeler I'm buying from here on out. I destroy ALL of my peelers because the metal always bends. This peeler can get in awkward hard to reach areas of vegetables the traditional peelers cannot and the metal is sturdy and does not bend.

Can't peel a mango
I've gotten a peeler like this from an Asian international market before. This is the kind of peeler I grew up with. I was excited to see it available on Amazon. When I got it, I tried to peel a mango. The ones I've had growing up easily peeled a mango. The blade was so dull when it came in the mail. Definitely not what I wanted.

Good but slow delivery
Vendor replaced this with a similar tool. It was fine as the replacement worked well but was plastic handle Instead of wood. Delivery was very slow

Not like picture
The peeling blade is serrated not flat like in photo, there is no cutting edge and handle is complete yellow. Shipping take a bit more then 3 weeks but not a big problem. Product was packaged very well. Just disappointing that it's not what the photo depicted.
