Great relfective sheets for growing plants indoors with grow lights
Great for growing plants indoors with grow lights, as these will reflect light back in to the plants. These fold out really big, and I just hand them on the wall around my indoor garden, or else wrap them around my grow tent.

helps keep my top floor rooms cooler in the summer
I've been using these for years. Eventually, they crumble due to sun exposure in the summer. So after several years, I had to replace my Mylar sheets. They do keep the upstairs rooms cooler in the summer.

Nice!
More than what I needed but it's very thin, flimsy and easy to tear when unfolding.

Blocks a lot of sun and uv on the windows
Its pretty cheap for me, i work nights so I bought it to darken the room up and keep the uv out of my bed room. It works well and you can still see through it, only down side is, its not sticky so you you need tape if its goin on a window

Summer Savior
This is my first time using something like this. Live on the fifth/top floor of an apartment and I have windows that receive full sunlight a great part of the year. In the summer it turns into a sweatbox in here. Last summer my little air conditioner was working day and night to keep the small living room livable and barely managed it. In fact it refused to work for a while because it just couldn't achieve the cooler temperature. I put these on my windows and I have absolutely been cool all summer and my air conditioner is on low cool. I've pulled closed the blinds when the sun is directly hitting the window or if the temperature is just miserably hot but now that it is nearing September I only need to close the film. My son hung the film on tension rods for me, and I just pinch them together when I want to see beyond what the film allows. The film as I'm looking out my window now, shows the shape of the clouds and the color of the sky. I can see traffic outside, not clearly but I can see activity outside my window. One of the better investments I've made in a while. Definitely recommend.

Thin, reflective, uneven
It's inexpensive and it blocks the heat from coming into the house. I put it on the outside of the house. Using a thermal camera (HT-18+, bought on amazon), I measured a difference of 15 to 20°F when the sun is shining on it.I am not sure it will survive in the wind, so I might try moving it to the inside of the windows. It may not block as much heat that way but I think it will last longer.Like other reviewers said, it allows some light through. However the light that does come through is *inconsistent*. Some parts of the material is much thinner than other parts (see the two horizontal bands in my photos) and there are also other horizontal and diagonal lines which makes me think that the coating is unevenly applied.

Good quality and worked for my project
I use these sheets to line my grow boxes to reflect light from the grow lights back to the plants. I found these to be easy to use and had no problems with tearing. You do need to be careful when handling because the sheets are thin. The package came on time and was packaged nicely with each sheet in it’s own package. I would recommend this.

I WAS SKEPTICAL..
I have to say I was skeptical after reading some accounts of how flimsy this is. I have to disagree...long story short, I have put this through the test, yes it is more difficult to work with than 'wrapping paper' as some have commented BUT 'it's NOT wrapping paper'. I have taped this, removed the tape without any tears (and I wasn't being 'careful about it'), I have crunched it up and twisted it tight and still been able to unfold it, smooth it out (still w/wrinkles) without tearing and been able to reuse it. I'm very pleased w/the quality of this product.
