Wellness has best variety of grain-free textures & flavors
All of our cats had serious digestive issues so we went looking for "healthier" grain-free cat foods. All the cheap stuff uses plant proteins like wheat gluten or corn gluten. We settled on Wellness as a good compromise between price and quality (and easy can recycling). We liked the choice of several different textures and flavors for the cats. Others only have a couple flavors or only come as pate. We went with Gravies initially because our cats love gravy, but the Wellness Gravies were inconsistent. Sometimes the gravy was more oily (see picture). Other times there was barely any gravy and the food was very dry (see picture). The cats wouldn't touch it when the food was dry. Also, the pieces in the Gravies can were cut very small (similar to the Minced cans). Our cats had trouble getting to all the food and we usually ended up tossing out half of every can. We switched to Morsels, which seem to have just as much gravy as Gravies. After four cans (Turkey & Salmon flavor), every bit has been eaten by happy kitties. The ingredients are slightly different. Morsels have spinach where Gravies use carrots. Both use ground peas, flaxseed, and cranberries... not sure that's any better for cats than grains. Protein levels are the same, but Morsels are 5% fat vs. 3% in Gravies. Maybe that's why our cats like Morsels better.

High quality cat food; wouldn't feed my cats any other brand
I can't say enough about Wellness pet products. I switched my senior dog over to their dog food and her health issues improved remarkably. Now I have a 6 month old kitten who eats dry kitten food but begs every morning for a can of the wellness cubed wet food. He's growing like a weed and has so much energy! He was a very skinny rescue when I got him two months ago and now he's sleek and filled out just right. Wellness is my go to food for all my pets. I have another cat in the house who is older. She's part persian and has the flat face. She loves the "gravy" on this food but leaves the solid parts. She only sniffs other brands of wet food.

but they would occasionally refuse to eat if they don't like the consistency/flavor
My two indoor cats have been on an wet food diet for the past 4 years. I have tried many different brands of wet food until a few months ago when I switched to Wellness. My cats are not very picky, but they would occasionally refuse to eat if they don't like the consistency/flavor. I have bought 6 cases of different flavors so far, and they seemed to enjoy most of them. I am happy with the switch and will continue to feed them Wellness because I noticed improvements in their digestion (they used to throw up occasionally, it doesn't happen anymore) and in their coats (very shiny, no more dandruff). All in all, they loved:- Signature Chunky Beef & Chicken, Tuna & Wild Salmon, Cubed Tuna, and Shredded Chicken& Chicken Liver.Didn't like:-CORE Whitefish and Salmon: They would it eat, but I'm never buying it again. It made their poop smell terrible every time they would have it.-Cubed Chicken: Not a favorite, they would leave half the cubes in the bowl after licking the gravy.

I love the Wellness brand and can see what it has ...
I love the Wellness brand and can see what it has been doing to my cats (Teenage mom & her 9 mos old boy Kitten). I can see the changes in their coats. I was originally buying pate and then realized (@ my BF behest) that I should switch over to meatier chunks. To all my vegetarian friends that haven't had meat in years - YOUR CATS WILL LOVE YOU FOR THIS! I legit had no idea of the difference except that my cats were were seemingly losing interest in the Wellness beef & chicken pate. My fur babies eat the chicken morsels like its a new dish everyday. It's gotten to the point that they follow me around and wait patiently for their food to be given to them. The only con is the delivery. It's great that you can order in the morning and receive the pack of cans by the time you get home. But I've had 2 instances in which the cans were beat up so bad that I lost about 3 cans per order. Which technically is a lot of food and your money being wasted. Not to mention super messy and gross to clean up. If you buy directly from WellPet they are very good at trying to send you back the cost of the order. They will even send you coupons too. So that's definitely a plus. But the courier service isn't very good. Be forewarned!

Best food around
My cats (kittens, really, about a year old now) LOVE this product. They've eaten as much as two and a half 3 ounce cans each in one sitting (though I try to limit these to one in the morning, and one in the evening each). I've tried all kinds of wellness products - they grew up on wellness so I can't talk to how a cat might transition to this product from something else. I've tried giving them the turkey recipe, the chicken and herring, the regular chicken (none of these were cubed), and the cubed turkey and they just love this recipe over everything else. The first few days after we rescued them, they were REALLY sick - upper respiratory infections, diarrhea, the works - and their coats were so filthy we had to give them a bath as soon as we got them home. Their fur constantly stuck together as if it was sticky, even after we cleaned them. After a month of wellness for the male and a month and a half for the female, they literally look like they're glowing now. Their fur looks great and they haven't been sick since (it's been a year!). I can't say more positive things about this product.

Something changed
I have 1 picky boy who only eats this kind and lately he has lost interest. I also noticed the consistency of the food is different in every can almost.

Healthy Cat Food
I have an FIV cat so nutrition is vital in maintaining her good health. Switched to Wellness's Turkey and or Chicken Canned Wet Food which my vet recommended in lieu of expensive precribed canned food. WIthin 6 months we saw an improvement in her blood count, and moreover, she really likes the food.

Great quality ingredients!!
Overall this seems to be a great product! I always try to get the best quality food I can that’s not full of preservatives or additives and this brand so far ticks my boxes. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because my feline friends seem to be a little picky. They both eat it no problem but put the pate option in front of them and it’s devoured! Since I myself cannot be an authority on taste or texture, I guess I have to rely on the cats!! Bottom line is: I believe it to be a great product in terms of quality ingredients but my cats are just a little picky!!
