Trust No One: The 39 Clues: Cahills vs. Vespers, Book 5

One of the reasons I love this series so much is that my oldest daughter and I share these books. She reads them first, and then I read after her. Sometimes she lets secrets slip as she reads, but we love discussing the books together. It is an excellent opportunity for us to talk together and build educational connections at the same time.I am so impressed by this series. It is amazing how so many different authors can come together and yet provide continuity in the story line. We pre-purchase EVERY book and share them. We've been doing this since book 1, series 1 and will continue until they end. EXCELLENT Book, great series. KEEP THEM COMING!

My 6th grade students got me hooked on The 39 Clues several years ago. Now, I'm chopping at the bit for the next installment once I finish each book. I like the characters, the storyline, and the blend of history and modern day. The writing is also impressive. The way each of the authors is able to pick up and carry the plot forward so seemlessly is something I find incredible. I can't wait for the next book, and hope that David Baldacci lives up to the high expectations that the other 8 authors have put forth!

My grandson has not had any 39 clues books until now. He is a good reader but Has had a slight bit of trouble understanding it. It may be just a little too difficult for him. I am putting it away until he matures in his reading ability. This is not any fault of yours. He just thought it was a cool book and that he could understand it better then he does. I'm sure when he mature's a little more he will enjoy it.

My kids and I have listened to every 39 Clues book on audio in our car. I guess we have been listening to them over the past 3 years or so. We have all really enjoyed the series. I particularly like that accurate historical information and information about historical artifacts can be expanded on when we get home by doing a little internet research.That said, this book and the previous one were not our favorites. They are getting a bit predictable while at the same time a bit more violent. Overall, though, we have really enjoyed our adventures with Amy and Dan.

As a family we've been reading the 39 Clues Series and anxiously await each new book. The books are full of suspense and provide insight into different historical and cultural facts. They are beautifully written by several authors that weave a single story of mystery and problem solving. It's a great book for the older child since the idea of two young tweens tasked with saving the world comes with betrayal, kidnapping, a level of violence and death in some cases.

This series is the one that got my girl staying up all night reading--a good thing in this family (on the weekends). She loves it.

My son loves this series. I read a few just to know what they were--and was pleasantly surprised to find an engaging story line which was age appropriate. I was particularly pleased to find no witchcraft--so prevalent in stories for this age group. Also, kids love the clues and ways they can interact. I am thrilled to find something I find no objection with that captures his attention and takes him from reluctant to eager reader.

I think the book is very entertaining and has a lot of twists. There is a lot of action.

You should read this book. Interesting plot twists. A fascinating adventure for my 8 year old son. He love these books.

My daughter has been a fan of these books for years now and follows them avidly. Having takne a peek and had to listen to her read aloud often they are very good. She has now passed her much prized books onto her younger brother which has really helped and encouraged him into reading. This author and set of books is great for that as they are interesting and hold the reader very well.

How can they keep going on? Amy and Dan are once again taken to breaking point. This is yet another impressive battle between good and pure evil. Written so well that you never want to out the book down. Well done for continuing to cause problems within this household, as most request s get ignored in favour of trying go discover if Amy and Dan are still in one piece!
