fit great, breathable, super light weight
These are so light, they almost feel like nothing on my feet, and are cool and breathable too. They don't look any cheaper than any other synthetic blend sneakers nowadays, I don't have any issues with them other than that the lace area seems thin like it may wear out quickly but I just got them so we'll see. I'm 6' about 200lbs. and they have plenty of support for a quick run or walking around town. I will not use them for regular work outs because I bought them specifically for city shoes and I prefer a heavier shoe to jog in. That being said, they are great for me for my purpose and I like the colors and air flow that I get with a thin low cut sock on. I wear a size 12 and these fit perfectly. I have a hard time finding 12s but New balance usually has a lot of options for me.

I wanted to stick with New Balance for better luck with sizing consistency
I was looking for runners to complement my New Balance Minimus pair. I've been using the low-drop shoes for about a year, but alternating them with an old pair of Nikes as a way to ease into the minimal cushioning. Recently I started having foot pain and a right-leg shin splint, which I chalked up to the Nikes being shot and the Minimus being too hardcore for all my running needs (I'm not a heavy runner - 5-6km, a couple times a week). I wanted to stick with New Balance for better luck with sizing consistency, and find a pair that wasn't as heavy-duty as my old Nikes and not as skimpy as the Minimus. These are incredibly lightweight, and really soft to land on without the bulk of a lot of padding. My initial impression was that the 8.5 was borderline too tight (short in the toe box) but they're really cute and light and I was without other running shoes so out we went. My first run had some toe pressure, but my second run was in the pouring rain and maybe getting them soaked was the trick. They are now a flawless, albeit close, fit to my foot. I'm sure I could have also worn the 9 without suffering, so if you're often between sizes I'd go with the bigger size in this model. I really love these, I'll keep an eye out for good deals in other colours.

Nice but didn't last long!
Now, these were my favorite NB to date. I wore them for 3 months and all the mesh ripped out along the outside portion towards the toes. Yes, they are mesh but I expect more than 3 months from a pair of shoes. I wore them 5-6 days a week from 2-12 hours depending on my work schedule and personal exercise. I contacted NB but they never returned my call or email. Very stylish and great color though! (purchased the aqua blue with yellow trim)

Great if you are a very neutral runner.
I really like these shoes so far. They are pretty minimalist when it comes to support, so make sure you have really great form and are a very neutral runner before you choose them. The colors are great, they are super light and airy, which I like because my feet get hot in shoes that are too padded. They fit snugly to your foot and true to size- I never feel them slipping and haven't had any blister problems, and I've done over 13 mile long runs in them. It takes some adjustment for your feet if you're coming from shoes with more padding, but once they get used to them, they're awesome! The only things I wish they had were slightly bigger lace holes- the laces that come with them are really thin, and I like switching to elastic lock laces anyhow- and then they need a small pull tabe on the back to make them easier to slip on for people who do not completely un lace their shoes every time. I generally wear Nikes because they are the most affordable, but I definitely recommend New Balances as well!

While I had tried these on in the store and loved them, I bought them here on Amazon because they were so much cheaper. However, the shoes I received I believe were defective; I couldn't even take a walk in these without the top of the toe box on one shoe folding and creasing and causing pain. I checked the tongue inside and I don't think it was sewn in properly; the other shoe felt wonderful, and I've never had a problem with that foot before. I guess I'll pony up at the store - at least I can try them on first

Cute & Comfy!
I saw these shoes for sale while I was visiting FL and bough a 6 (size I wear in Nike's). When I got back to the condo they were too small! So I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than what you would wear in Nike's. Since they didn't have a 6.5 in FL I ordered them from here. The shipping was quick. The packaging of the shoe box could have been better. They used one of those plastic baggies to put the box of shoes in so my shoe box was completely damaged when I got it. Shoes were fine though. The color is exactly what you see in the picture. Beautiful bright coral and gray!

Very light with tons of cushioning
I haven't put many miles on these as I plan to use them on race day for my fall marathon. But the combination of cushioning and how light they are is awesome. They're definitely a neutral shoe, so for those who need a lot of support, these might not be the best. And I'm not sure how many miles you can log before the cushioning will start to break down. But for lighter runners looking for a great speed training and race day shoe, these get a big thumbs up from me.
