The Legend of Sally Jones is Fantastic!
I had previously read (and loved) Jakob Wegelus' children's book "The Murderer's Ape" and wanted MORE MORE MORE of Sally Jones and I got it in "The Legend"! This is Sally's origin story and what a story it is with great illustrations. My only hope is that there will be further adventures with Sally Jones to come!

MAGNIFICENT
Jackob Wegelius is a yet to be discovered master of the compelling novel. Once one starts reading cannot help becomingcaught up with every aspect of the story including an especially the brilliant illustrations also done by the author. Not to be missed.

Prequel to The Murderer's Ape - a great adventure!
This takes you back to the start, to a dark forest in the middle of the Congo, where an ape is captured and taken to Istanbul on a boat. Little do they know, it’s Sally Jones who they’re messing with…From the Congo across the world’s oceans and via Borneo and even New York, this is a monkey sized adventure for all ages! The spirit of adventure, travel and and Around the World in 80 Days vibe, this is a BookTrail favourite already!I’ve read both in Swedish and English now and they translate very well! Thanks to a great translator and a gripping story of adventure and more.

Lovely illustrated short prequel
A lovely full page illustrated story charting the start of Sally Jones. A prequel to The Murderers Ape which is a fabulous book of 580 pages, but this is a one session read as more of an illustrated story. But it is lovely and we return to it frequently.

Fantastic prequel to an amazing novel. You’ll love Sally’s Jones.
I loved this book. Having read The Murderer’s Ape it was perfect in giving the back story to a truly unique character. Full of villains that are no match for Sally Jones. Lots of travel and adventures. Great for discussing animal exploitation as a theme

Gorgeous but heart breaking.
Utterly, utterly wonderful. This is such a beautiful graphic novel and provoked a huge reaction from those in my class that have read it. A wonderful prequel to The Murderer's Ape.

You can even read this after its sequel, which is utterly memorable.
Charming prequel to The Murderer"s Ape, which is a must to read after. A treasure.
