Woke my mouth right up
Very strong peppermint flavour, definitely wakes you up. Leaves your mouth feeling properly clean and fresh, not just minty for five minutes. A bit different to standard toothpaste, but in a good way. I’ve stuck with it and would buy it again.

Love to check the ingredients - check this out.
I’m on the hunt for a strong-tasting, clean, and healthy toothpaste away from the big brands we usually find in supermarkets and pharmacies. Here’s my little deep dive. Overall, the ingredients appear healthy and safe, which I would expect from Dr. Bronner’s. Like all toothpaste, I probably wouldn’t swallow it — just in case — as they do use ingredients like silica and xanthan gum (important to note: in my research they says these are safe). Taste: Pretty mild peppermint taste. For me, it’s not strong enough. Packaging: Love the navy blue design. Contains a lot of information, which is quite nice to read while brushing your teeth. Eco-friendly made from sugarcane bioplastic. So that’s an eco thumbs-up. Ingredients: Glycerin – I think this is used to stop the paste from drying out and to act as a binder. (It’s unclear through research if it’s bad for you, but most research points to it not being harmful.) Silica – Used as a mild abrasive to clean the teeth. No harmful effects in small doses. Calcium Carbonate – Another mild abrasive. Sometimes used in toothpaste to neutralize acids. Natural origin. Xanthan Gum – Usually used as a thickening agent and stabilizer. Generally considered safe in small doses. Baking Soda – Helps naturally whiten teeth. It’s non-toxic and considered safe. I’d like to add that, for a baking soda toothpaste, the taste isn’t very strong in this product. Coconut Oil – I’m not sure if this is used for texture or to mimic coconut oil pulling. Mint – For taste. Sodium Sulfate – Important note: Dr. Bronner’s uses sodium sulfate, not sodium lauryl sulfate. From what I read, it’s usually used as a thickener or filler. No known health risks in small amounts. Coconut Flour Citric Acid – In my reading, this is usually used as a preservative, pH adjuster, flavor enhancer, and to help dissolve stains. Research considers it safe in small amounts. In high amounts, it could wear down enamel. Stevia – Used for taste/sweetness. Natural and considered safe. Aloe – I’m not sure what this is used for, but it sounds quite nice to me. Vitamin E – From what I’ve read, it’s used for antioxidant protection and to support healing. Considered very safe. Sunflower Oil – There are many possible reasons they included this: moisturising, anti-inflammatory, oil-pulling effect, and as a carrier for other ingredients. Seed oils are in the headlines a lot at the moment, but general research especially in this quantity considers it safe. Menthol – For taste. Limonene – Naturally occurring in various citrus peels. In my research, it could be used for flavour, antibacterial properties, and as a natural solvent. Considered safe.

It cleans your teeth very well, just as corporate brands do.
My family and I have been using this product for over a year now and our oral hygiene is first class. We have removed products containing fluoride as we deemed them unnecessary, and the results have been very surprising in a positive sense.

Good product but pricey
Cleans your teeth very well, takes time to get used to no foam but still cleans well. I find it very expensive though.

Depends on what you want
If you are just looking for a flouride free this isn’t the best. It’s basically just coconut oil, it’s not a great brushing experience. But if you want organic on top of being free from all the nasties, then this is fine.
