This looks to be a very wellManufactured piece of equipment. It works very well and is not too noisy. It also has a decent manualWhat worries me with such an expensive equipment . is the manufacturers statement that they provide no after sales supportThey do provide a spare filter and the water container which looks very difficult to maintain.

I bought this item after suffering from 4 broken ribs and with only being able to lie on my side I found that I was struggling to catch my breath and my sats level kept dropping. ( I do have COPD ).After spending 4 nights trying to sleep sitting up I decided I needed to try something completely different and after a bit of research I opted for this machine as it was a mid range price. Downside is that it only comes with a mains cable that is a 2 pin plug so had to play hunt an adapter to use in the UK, which wasn’t mentioned in the description. Really easy to use, love the fact that when using the remote to operate it, it talks to you to tell you which setting you have just put it on, so fantastic if you can’t see the top when lying down. Top display is really clear and easy to read. I should also point out that you do need to provide your own button cell battery for the remote as is stated in the description. (2032 size if any help). I did buy a separate face mask as I never really got on with the nasal cannula’s before but have to say it doesn’t work as well, and over time I have gotten used to the nasal cannula so have stuck with that. It is quite easy to fill the water tank by using one of those little filling cups you get to fill a steam iron with or similar as the tank is quite small and the filling hole is on the flat front. It is quite noisy if you are not used to having machines on when you sleep but I would say it is far quieter than my nebuliser if that helps any. Overall this machine has been a massive game changer for me as by night 3 of getting used to it I found that I could actually sleep lying down and although I had put it on a 3 hour cycle, I fell asleep before it had finished. In my case I use earplugs to drown out machine noise and found that by using the nasal cannula it created a kind of whooshing noise which I found extremely soothing and did probably help more. It is quite heavy and for long term invalids who are quite weak like myself, it is difficult to move once in place, but doesn’t worry me as I didn’t need to move it from beside the bed. For the price I think this is a great machine the only reason I didn’t give it the full 5 stars was the lack of a UK plug which I would have expected as standard when buying on the Amazon UK site.
