This timer is one of the easiest to use. Timing something for ten minutes is as easy as tapping the buttons 1 0 0 0 and then pressing Start. It has other functions, such as a clock and counting upward, but I only wanted it as a kitchen timer. It's perfect for me. And do you want to keep it clean? My hands are sometimes sticky with dough or greasy with butter. The timer easily fits inside a one-quart ziplock bag. Seal it and your timer will stay as clean as it was when you first removed it from its box. Put the User's Manual in the bag too; you'll always know where it is.

I've used this for a couple months now. LOVE the big, contrasty display (I'm so tired of cramped, low-contrast displays, like Oxo). Numeric keypad is MUCH faster for dialing in values. Also, this timer is super accurate. Minor quibbles: I would like audible confirmations for each button press. And I think the indicator LED is too small. It's like a flashing red pinhead. For those who've noted you have repeatedly press the "clear" key to get rid of a value, you simply have to long-press that key, and it will eliminate the entire value instantly.

I use this in my office and it helps keep track of my time. A little hard to understand all the functions but once I did it has been good.

Pro: Numeric Keypad. Variable alarm volume. Instructions for use stickered on the bottom; this is extremely thoughtful. Instructions provided in multiple languages, BUT ON SEPARATE leaflets, so I could recycle the two I couldn't read without being saddled with storing a 400 page manual of which only 4 pages are English. Thank you! FWIW, separate instruction stickers were also provided in two alternate languages, which is again very thoughtful.Con: The included batteries leaked and were cruddy upon arrival. The timer itself was protected by a bubble wrap pouch, so fortunately it did not leak all over the timer.

My favorite timer. Easy to read. Has memory 4 keeping my four times a clock. Sets for hours or minutes or seconds. Great for keeping on the counter in the kitchen. Great when cooking roasts or just timing laundry.

I BOUGHT THIS AFTER GETTING SEVERAL PEOPLE ANSWER MY QUESTION AS TO THE LOUDNESS OF THE RINGER. IT IS ADJUSTABLE. IT DOES HAVE A RED LIGHT. NEITHER OF WHICH HELPED ME WITH MY HEARING LOSS. I NEED SOMETHING THAT RINGS LIKE AN OLD TELEPHONE. I HAVE TWO LANDLINES IN MY HOUSE AND BOTH HAVE SPECIAL HEARING IMPAIRED FUNCTIONS AND THEY RING VERY LOW AND LOUD. THE LIGHT ON THIS TIMER IS MINISCULE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU TO SEE THIS TINY LIGHT. ALL IN ALL, THIS IS A VERY NICE TIMER FOR THOSE WITH NO HEARING LOSS.

The controls are very easy to work and the 4 memory functions work great. i have had approx 4 timers and this is head and shoulders above the rest if you don't require vibrate or a alarm that hurts your ears. The logic of the buttons is very good. Quality buttons. Is large and does not have a vibrate function so it would of not worked at work for me. I make tea many times a day and this rocks! WORTH IT!!

I'm sure this is perfect for sports interval timing etc but I bought it thinking it had four timers for kitchen use as per the Hygiplas timer, but this is not so & was very frustrating trying to figure it out only to find it did not have that facility. Had to send it back. BUT don't be put off for the other facilities it offers.
