The Real Deal
Sennheiser's replacement cables for the units that had this cable packaged with them suddenly became a very cheaply made facsimile of this version not too long ago so it's VERY exciting to find these still in existence and at such a great price! This is a sturdy cable with good reinforcement around the XLR jack end and of course the threaded lock for the 1/8" end. Very cool.

Good Product But Delicate
This is a solid product but you have to be careful when using. The 3.5mm jack on one of mine broke (snapped off) about two months after using it. The other one is still in tack and works fine. Not sure if the jack broke because of user error (could be me) or if because they are delicate.None the less good product but be careful when using.

Defect prevents 3.5 mm jack complete connection
A manufacturing defect - metal ring was loose and prevented complete connection. The 3.5 mm jack as molded into the plastic came up short and the loose ring that could not be removed, took up more space.Machine made defects are often repeatable so if you buy this cable there is a chance that yours will be defective.
