Update: Our winter got a little chilly this year (in the 40s) so I ordered this dress again but accidentally got a medium this time. To my surprise, it fit! Because this dress has a free open hip area and like a bell shaped flare, it wasnt too small for me! (I'm pear shaped) The only place I noticed it was tighter was in the arms. So, if you're a petite 14 like me and have smaller arms for your size, you might want a medium for a little closer fit. The large will give you a nice fit too but looser in the arms/neck. Otherwise, the body still fits nicely over my 38 bust and 34 waist - even in medium!I'm a size 14, 38C. Large fit perfectly. But the fabric is too warm for Florida. Would be better for cooler climates. Fabric is a soft, velvety kinda plush. I'm only 5 foot tall so it fit more like midi length instead of knee length. Good quality and nice print, just too warm for my needs.

You never know what you're gonna get buying some dresses online, but I was surprisingly pleased with this purchase. The fabric is very soft and the material is thicker than I expected which is a good thing. Not see thru at all and very modest.

My wife is giving this a 4 star, only because it is a quality made dress. She said the sleeves are much shorter than shown in the picture. The sleeves are more like "cap sleeves" and not "3/4". The bust portion was too tight, as she is a 38DD top but a true size 9 otherwise. The fabric feels great, she said. She ordered a size large mainly because she had a large bust-line, so since she is a size 9, the dress should have fit less tight. My wife is 38 DD, 26, 37, 5 ft 7, 140 pounds for reference. The dress was about 3 inches below the knee. She said a slip is needed, as the dress is rather on the thin side in fabric.

This isn’t even the same dress. The one that arrived is a big, ugly sack. Also, slightly transparent. We needed it as an underdress and we don’t have time to return it for something else.

I sure love this dress, the style is so perfect! That being said, it's way cheap fabric. I've only worn this dress once and it's already falling apart. The threading is showing through the fabric. These dresses are priced pretty high for the lack of quality. The fit is also weird. I ordered an extra large, I like my clothes loose. I'm a medium normally and the sleeves to this dress run a bit tight.I bought two of them but haven't worn the other one yet.I'm hoping it's just this dress. I mean I have $10 Walmart dresses that are such amazing quality and way cheaper.

LOVE this dress! I'm 8-months pregnant and I wore this dress for my baby shower. The fabric is SO comfortable — it almost feels like a scuba material mixed with jersey. It's very soft. It's a little heavy, but not in a way that will make you hot. I love how modest it is — it has a high neckline and comes past my knees (I'm 5'4").I'm usually a size 10/12, 36D cup when I'm not pregnant, so I just sized up one and it fits me loosely and comfortably. I will definitely wear this postpartum. It's one of my favorite fall dresses!My only slight complaint is the sleeve length is a little unusual — I really didn't like it when I first tried it on, but it's grown on me. It's like a very long short sleeve.

Being a college professor, I am in dare need of as many practical, yet elegant outfits as I can afford. Unfortunately, this dress in not one of them! nothing "iconic" or "luxury" about it. Right out of the package I decided that it is not a keeper, but decided to try it on anyway. Color is nice, and I like "mock neck" style, but dress is very thin, very easy to wrinkle, just unflattering! I don't see any other appropriate occasion to wear it rather than a beach.

I love these dresses so much that I came back to buy more colors! I've been looking for a dress this length for a while now. I'm 5'9 and it hits about mid shin. The fabric is nice and has a flattering fit.
