Sturdy and nice looking
Very sturdy, no slipping. Nice looking. Of course like with anything, it can be difficult to get wrench in the tight spot required to tighten and "snap" off the attachment bolt. But this is not the fault of this product. When working in tight areas it's always an issue. I would recommend

So easy to install had the wife do it.
So easy to install had the wife do it. Comfy enough and does exactly what it says. Doesn't move and detaches for easy cleaning and doesn't slam shut when flipping lid at night, 10/10

Good product.
Installed this with no difficulty. Worked great and closed slowly on its own for just over a month, then it quit closing slowly (bang!). I contacted Bemis, who promptly sent me a new one at no cost, and I did not have to return the used product. I hope this new replacement lasts much longer.

Great in every way
Great color, not such a bright white. High quality painted wood, and we love the way it closes slowly without banging. (20-something male bin the home.) Our ADA commode is a bit shorter than some manufacturers' oval commodes, so none of the hardware store lids will fit. This one is adjustable so it's the only one that would fit. Our family is thoroughly impressed by this product and highly recommend it!

The product arrived broken. There were none of the broken hinge pieces in the box. Which means it was shipped already broken and not broken during transit.

Perfect seat!
We purchased a home that had this toilet seat in one of the bathrooms. I researched long and hard to find out which one it was and bought another for our other bathroom. It’s way sturdier than your average toilet seat and super easy to clean - way less crevasses to clean into and around! I’ve never been so excited about something so simple and have told my whole family this is the toilet seat they need in their homes!

Not as tight as they advertise
Installed the seat without any trouble. It uses plastic nuts that snap off when torqued the proper amount but I found this wasn't tight enough. The seat moves side to side.
