I opened the package and ten seconds later I was good to go
Simple effective. I have a very lightweight had, made of kangaroo leather. Anything above a slight breeze would have me clamping down on it. The hat had eyelets for a strap but none came with it. I opened the package and ten seconds later I was good to go. When the air is light I put the strap behind my head. When it gets more blustery I put it under my chin. It works great.

The cord is ok, it fits through the eyelets and works perfectly without ruining my hat. I bought it to also shape the hat when not strapped under my chin. Two things.... first, the leather "stopper" is very thin and flimsy. Second, the shipping price was outrageous for something that would fit in a regular envelope or small box and ship for half the price. So much so, that rather than pay for another, I am making one for a friend. Pretty simple to make. Right now, I'm just glad I have one!
