A few interesting hikes
A few interesting hikes are included. But many are fairly lame or are already well-known. Nice photographs throughout.

Helpful.
This book gives the user a wide variety of basic choices in an area filled with hiking options. A very good place to start when planning a trip to this area. And easy to take along while on one of the hikes.

An Accessible and Detailed Picture of the Best Four Corner's Trails.
As a resident of the Four Corners for more than 10 years, I found that this book really nails some of our well known AND little known trail gems. Accessible, diverse in trail genre (city trail systems, as well as wilderness epics...), detailed without being overwrought, and strong first-hand knowledge of each trail makes this guide worth a look before you go. The addition of Honorable Mentions in each state's section allows one to broaden their trail horizons beyond what is most popular. If you want to get out into one of the least populated parts of the US- this book will take you there with grace and knowledge.

Mostly for families.
A few gems, but not for the serious hiker.
