Gave a bad review on this item because it would not operate my system as promised. ( so I thought ). Was contacted by Guangzhou Yibicheng Electronic company and was asked to send them a pic of the original remote that was included in my Bose purchase.. I did so and they promptly sent me the correct Bose remote which works like a charm.I sincerely appreciate their standard of business ethics... Very honest and attentive....Thank you.

For being shipped from the PRC, this was delivered in freakishly fast time. I plugged a CR2032 battery into it (you'll need your own), and tested it on my Wave System III. Everything worked as it should. Well worth the money spent, having a second remote around, for the times the original wanders off temporarily.

UPDATESo, the remote seemed to be okay, but now it’s taking multiple attempts to get my unit to turn on and a CD is stuck because the eject button doesn’t work. I’m also unable to change the time. 🤨This arrived in a small plastic bag, marked “Made in China”. The bag looked like it had been used MANY times. In the midst of a pandemic, took it out with gloves and wipes the remote down before installing the battery. The remote came with no instructions so I was glad the description had explained which batteries (CR2025 or 2032) to purchase. You’ll need a good amount of dexterity and small fingers to open the battery compartment. I was leery, but having lost both remotes for my Bose (I), I was desperate to have my system working again. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked and I have music again!! I just wish it hadn’t been placed in a box with another large item, loose, with zero packaging. Glad I lucked out! 🎼

I lost my remote and called Bose to order a new one. They are out of stock and don't know when they will replenish! (Covid issues)..... My player works exclusively with the remote control and I thought it was going to be useless until the factory is up and running again - but then... Amazon! I received my remote super quickly and it was brand new. Works great! Batteries not included - but they aren't expensive! This cost less than what Bose was charging (and couldn't help) and I wouldn't have had free shipping! Thank you! Recommend this seller and product!

I am so thrilled with this remote! One of my children lost the original years ago. I've used phone app and computer but missed using Cd and radio functions. I ordered a different off brand a couple years ago but it never worked. After I read reviews I decided to give this one a shot before ordering the more expensive Bose replacement. They were not wrong! I got package today and also ordered the button batteries at the same time. Package arrived quickly. I opened it and immediately added the battery. I clicked the power button and it worked INSTANTLY. I was finally able to correct the time for DST again and play my favorite station just in time for the seasonal Christmas music. In a Covid year this is the best present at a great price.

I ordered 2 of these to back up my original remote. The keypad looks like the original Wave III remote but these were made in China instead of Mexico and they don't show the Bose name. Both work but they're cheaply made. The battery compartment for one is okay, but the I had to use a screwdriver to force the compartment open for the other remote. I'm considering returning the second one because I think the tab on the battery compartment will break if I try to pry it open with a screwdriver again.

The battery compartment is one of those where you have to push one tab sideways then pull out on another tab. Really hard to do. Put in the battery and it worked first time. BUT......... This think is maybe an eighth inch thick, two inches wide and three inches tall. It came in a box that was three inches high, six inches wide and 8 inches long with no padding at all. The remote was free to bounce around from side to side with no protection. I was really surprised it worked. This could have been mailed in a padded envelope with far less waste. But it worked......

I had to order a new remote because I put mine on the arm of my chair. Unfortunately my trashcan was right next to it.Me and some friends were watching the Chief's Game and I knocked it off in my trash. Now knowing I did this was easily forgotten when the Chief's made a touchdown. Sad to say I threw it away. That's why I have a new remote which works great and priced just right. Trashcans gone-new remote velcroed to the radio.

A cheap, ineffective remote control. Battery slot is impossible to open without a screwdriver which risks breaking it. Buttons are barely raised above the control’s surface, making pressing them difficult. You have to push the buttons repeatedly and aim the control directly at the radio to get the remote to function. The control only works 3’-4’ away, hardly "remote". For an extra $3, buy an original Bose remote control since this one is unlikely to last very long.
