The Best FX Skin Product!
I bought this product along with the "I Can't Believe It's Not Blood" product in order to do a special video project for my channel. We wanted to make a horror skit/short film for our YouTube channel and it is coming along nicely and it is all due to these 2 products. However, the Monster Liquid Latex in particular here is the main base for all of it. So let me tell you guys about it.First, I was looking all over for something that was cheap but could also be used an FX type makeup so we can do our video stuff. Eventually I found this product, I loved the low price, and due to all of the amazing reviews it helped motivate my opinion into purchasing this product. When, I first got the Liquid Latex, however, I had to keep it in on my shelf for the past few weeks since we weren't working on the video until the past couple days, but let's just say this first; it's amazing. When we first opened up the Liquid Latex for application we were shocked at how nice it actually is. I never used Liquid Latex products at all before, but it seem to be just like I expected. To me, it kind of has a similar consistency to Rubber Cement but slightly less thick. The latex goes on the desired area nicely (I recommend using a brush) and it dries quickly enough to apply more layers for a thicker "skin" for all of your creative ideas for it. We, however, were using it mostly to do the face on our antagonist in our video, and after about 20-30 minutes we got it to were we wanted it on our dear friend who plays the role (sorry, no pictures :( ). He expressed that he had no irritation or itchiness from the latex, although, after about a couple hours of filming, his only complaint was that it felt weird because it wasn't his normal face. Anyway, overall this product this is amazing, especially if you are filming a short film or experimenting with design.Pros:-Applies easily.-No irritation or itching (us, anyway)-Lasts until you wash off.-Easy to mold.-Great for photography and short film purposes (we think it would be great for Halloween too)Cons:-Anyone who is allergic to latex cannot use this amazing product.Once again, I hope this review helps those of you who are considering this product. Trust me, I was looking at those jars of that rub on fake skin stuff and everything, but let me tell you, if you really want something to do it's job then this for you. Plus, it works perfectly with other FX products such as fake blood and more. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps.

Used for Mixed Media and LED Prosthetics. Works Great!
This was super affordable and easy to work with. We'll be buying it in much larger quantities now that we got to test run it. We're building latex prosthetics for several of the characters for our project "The Reliquarian".It dries quickly, and is helpful to do in thin layers. I use the cheap sponge applicators from a craft store. The smell was WAY less offensive than other brands I've tried, but we work with so many things I may just be immune to it now.Aside from creating the mold prosthetics it works well to build on and into on the skin. (See photos below). We used Wolfe body paints and water based acrylic paints, both of which work well over it and the latex blended seamlessly with the skin.Take off requires patience. We used both dawn dish soap and isopropyl myristate in our test applications, with a qtip. If you take your time and run a well saturated one gently under the prosthetic it will release naturally and without removing skin or hair. (Recommend shaving/waxing anywhere that you're putting the latex on while wet.).You can use the latex itself as a prosthetic adhesive, or we used prosaide. Both worked well

Works Great as an adhesive
Used this for the viral yarn makeup challenge going around this was my first time using latex . Product kinda became clumpy for some reason and had a strong smell it didn’t smell to good but i got over it lol . It worked well as an adhesive for my yarn stuck very well and it dries fast . I would actually buy it again for the price I think it was a good product it didn’t break out my skin afterwards either.

Don't waste your time and money (from a pro)
The media could not be loaded. I've been working with liquid latex since 2017 as a SFX MUA and this is the worst liquid latex I have ever used. I bought 2 bottles, one after the other. The first bottle was mostly "dry" (thick but not dry to the touch) at the top even though it was sealed. The "liquid" inside was so thick I had to shake and squeeze the bottle to get any out. It was more pungent than usual. I tried to use it anyway, but it would not dry completely. Still after 48 hours now, that part of my project is not dry. I am on a time crunch and need things to dry how they are supposed to, so I issued a return hoping that I can get a replacement and this was just a fluke, because I have used this brand in years past with great success. The second bottle was no better and smelled even worse than the first. Liquid latex always smells a little like fish or wet dog or sweaty sock, but this bottle was all of those and more. And its still the thick terrible consisitency that wont dry completely.I would return the second bottle if I weren't so desperate to finish my project (time crunch is worse since the latex issues). Mixing it with water helps thin it out but it still is taking forever to dry. I just have to make do because all the good stuff takes too long to ship or is way to expensive for the quantity I need. This product used to be good, or at least usable. I dont know what happened.
