Ought to be a standard feature in every new car.
This silly looking little pillow is wonderful. It holds the head of a napping passenger at just the right angle to snooze, while keeping the neck from getting stiff and hurting when the person wakes up. I started buying these kinds of "donut with a bite missing" pillows about twenty years ago, and got some very strange looks when I used the pillows on long plane flights. Now I see that many travel warriors carry them, and that they are becoming common on long car trips as well. That's terrific. This particular pillow is very comfortable, with lightweight foam beads inside a thin covering. The covering allows the beads to shift when the user moves their head slightly, so it will be more comfortable than a pillow that doesn't give. Also, the foam beads are much, much lighter than the solid memory foam or buckwheat hulls that I have found in other such pillows. It doesn't feel much heavier than an inflatable pillow, and is much nicer than one, because the foam beads don't make the crinkling noise associated with a plastic inflatable pillow. The downside is that the thin cloth covering, which allows the beads to move freely, doesn't look very durable. If given to a young child, I would bet that the back seat of the car would be full of foam beads in about three seconds. Happily, I am not a young child, and have used this very comfortable pillow for many months with no problems whatsoever. It comes with a vinyl case, in which I store the pillow when not in use, avoiding the tears and damage associated with being thrown in the trunk. Otherwise, it gets no gentle treatment from me. If it does begin to tear, I plan to put the whole pillow in a nylon stocking as a quick/cheap repair, so I won't get little balls of foam all over my car. But for now, I'll enjoy the pillow for allowing me to snooze the miles away when it's my husband's turn to drive.

Individual beading is key to comfort.
I am thrilled to have found this neck pillow. I had one several years ago like it, and i dont know what happened to it. I have purchased a couple in stores and found that they all are a solid piece of foam that actually hurt my neck. After realizing the difference and what i needed, i searched high and low and could not find one with individual beading. I dont know why i didnt check Amazon sooner. I should have known. Finally, i have a neck pillow that doesnt push against my neck, but gently supports it. I can adjust the beads to however much i want my head raised or lowered. I will be ordering more, so i dont have to ever search again, in case these become unavailable, as i use them ever day with my disability. They are also good for supporting my arms when i am crocheting or reading.

Best neck pillow ever!
This bead filled pillow is very comfortable... it forms to my neck perfectly! I have a memory foam one but it isn't flexible enough to get comfortable with! It even has a stretch fabric handle and the price was so low!

Almost perfect, but ended up annoying
I want to love it, it definitely supports my neck well, but the micro beads keep falling out all over the place. There is a tiny tiny gap where the handle is sewn in and the beads keep falling out. Not worth the hassel of returning, but it is annoying.

Comfortable and soft!
A great pillow! I have used a neck pillow since I had brain surgery in 2019, my scalp is still too tender to lay even on a pillow. This one lifts my head just enough that it's not laying heavily on the bed, it's the perfect size and so comfortable, it did have a strong chemical odor. I sprayed it with Febreeze about an hour ago, and it's fine now. I will likely machine wash and dry it, I don't know if that's recommend, but I wash my other pillows. The only complaint I have is that I ordered Red, the picture showed a brilliant red, what I got was Fuschsia, one of my least favorite colors.

The seam came undone during 2nd use and little foam balls everywhere.
The pillow seam came undone the 2nd night I used it and got all those little foam beads absolutely everywhere. I've shook the sheets out washed them and I still have those foam balls everywhere. I used to like the product but I feel like I have completely wasted my money and I have no product to use now. Without the proper neck support I get migraines.

NEVER a Stiff Neck
Love the Mood neck pillows! The new stuffing is tiny little micro beads, which seem cooler and more resilient than the older style's synthetic fiber filling. In nightly use for several months now --- with NEVER a stiff neck in the morning! --- we salute Lewis N. Clark for a great new product. (A selection of colors that aren't quite sooo bright would not go amiss, though.) Recommended.
