Canada GreenGrass Lawn Seed - Grows Healthy Rich Green Grass Lawn Seed Plants Yard Garden 2 Pound Bag

I saw growth in a week and was amazed.i am in Alaska and not all grass seed grows well but this was amazing. I plan on getting more in the future to fill in spots.

Delivery was prompt and in good condition. Seed has not sprouted and may not til Spring. My Sister has used it for years and her lawn looks great.

Canadian Green grows in virtually any climate, Connecticut has a huge cross section of weather and Canadian Green grows and grows. Love it. My last bag was partly torn at the top, as I pulled it seeds went all over the kitchen floor, not fun. But this was an anomoly, I have bought at least ten bags of Canadian Green before and never had this happen, but that is why I gave it a four star instead of my customary five.

I bought this grass seed to reseed bare patches in my lawn n 2023.. The seed was rather expensive but the cost was not an issue. I read the reviews and some were good and some were bad but was convinced this was the way to go. My comments....The description noted the grass would be dark green...quite the contrary. The bag had NO information as to the type of seed that I bought. I found that strange. The seed did bloom in about 7 days which I was excited about but the color was a very light green. I contined to watered the seed faithfully every day. All looked healthy. I waited 5 weeks to do my 1st mow since I wanted the seed to get established..As time went on I noticed the seeded area's began to thin out but I continued to water and was careful not to walk on the seeded areas. Needless to say the seeded area's died out leaving the area's bare again. The area's filled in with weed growth to my disappointment.My conclusion...the seed was cheap annual rye grass that does die back....that's my story folks. Lesson learned buy packaged seed that list what type of seed are within the package.

This product came on time, but inside a cheap see-through cellaphane bag. I was led to believe it would come with mulch(peralite) mixed in with the seeds. It did not. It was grass seed only. That was disappointing. After planting, a tiny section of the lawn began to grow in about 10 days. It took about 3 or 4 weeks, and alot of rainfall, for the lawn to really fill in. I'm sure I would have gotten the same results with ordinary grass seed.. Will not purchase again.

The Canada Green grass seed is wonderful. I've tried every brand in this difficult place in my yard and it never grows thick enough to keep the weeds out. Dealing with sun, shade and tree roots, made for extra problems. This grass seed covered everything with thick growth that has completely filled all the bald spots (wish it worked on hair). Im going to plant some more this fall in our back yard under some trees. Great product. I highly recommend it.
