Pleasantly surprised - Works Very Well
An awesome bit of kit. I was wary due to the negative reviews but I had an important job, so I took the plunge and I'm very please that I did.In response to some of the negative reviews that I read about the sensitivity, uneven surfaces, ac sensitivity, pencil marker, etc..., I only have one word of advice RTFM!! (or the paper instructions to be exact). All are explained in there, as to how to use and address all of the issues that others have complained about. I have tested all of them and they all work very well. It found studs and metal that my previous models have missed.All in all, I am very pleased with the product and it has worked very well.The only downside is the lack of a case, and you would expect one for this price.This may help those struggling with the usage (I found this after writing this review) - http://www.zirconinternational.com/uk/products/centre_ms_i700-video.html#

Zircon MultiScanner
This is a great scanner, giving very positive and clear readings in all modes.As with all scanners, take your time, and scan both axis slowly.With care and a little practice, this is as good as any, and better than most.Not cheap, but good value for the quality.Would be nice if it came with a case.apeter -

Straightforward and as expected
Happy with purchase – many thanks. None of these things are 100% accurate, but I managed to use this one just fine.

A Superb Scanner
This is a superb Scanner and potentially a real life saver. I used it through floorboards and plasterboard wall to great effect and it was probably about 95% accurate which is exceptionally good. I can't think how I ever got by without one of these. Highly Recommended.

Didn't work for me but refunded ok
Despite the mixed reviews I gave this a whirl,but it didn't detect anything/ or said the whole wall was wood! However the supplier gave a trouble free refund, so you could always give it a whirl!

I have had it about 7 years now, works pretty well though there may be better ones out there now.

Class Piece of Kit.
This is a class piece of kit. Easy to set up and use. It has proved very accurate in identifying battens, power cables and pipes etc. Highly recommended and good value for money as it could save you much more than its cost.
