Crankbrothers Mini Bike Tools Multi 19 Tool Black +Case

Why did I not have one of these before? I am no bike mechanic, but now I have the essential portable bike tool. Kids bike has a loose handle bar - no problem. Pedal falling off - got it. It is wonderful to have the right tool to work on bikes, and all in one place. Previously, I never had the correct size wrench or bit to turn bicycle hardware, but now, I do! I am not sure why or how to use the chain tool, but who cares, if necessary I will find a tutorial video. I added a tire repair kit, tire and tube removal thingies, another standard multi tool, and a small air pump, and we are all set for the trails and biking anywhere with confidence. The Crankbrothers Multi 19 comes in a nice little case, it light weight, and seems built to last forever.

Shortly after buying this tool I was given the Vibrelli 19 tool. Because of that I thought a comparison for those looking at those two tools might be helpful. The finish on the Crank Brothers tool is hands down better. I don’t know how important finish is on a tool that spends most of its life out of sight, but if you are handing it to a friend, maybe finish matters. The case on the Crank Brothers tool is by far the better case. I don’t keep mine in a case while in a saddle bag so it’s not that big of a deal, but still, a stainless steel case is far more attractive than a nylon bag. Both the Crank Brothers and Vibrelli tools feel solid and strong. They are both made from high tensile steel and when using them I don’t feel like I am compromising anything over using a standard shop tool. They really are good quality tools. Weight for the Crank Brothers tool alone is 175g/6.17oz and in its clean looking case, 218g/7.69oz. Weight for the Vibrelli tool alone is 183g/6.45oz and in its uninspiring nylon pouch, 201g/7.09oz.

Best tool ever!

A pretty affordable, sturdy multitool with just about anything you could need on a multitool. My biggest complaint is that the case is absolutely terrible. It's so annoying to open and close and it's metal so it adds weight. The tool itself is a bit awkward to use so it's not my go-to for basic adjustments unless it's the only thing I have, but for an all-in-one tool to throw in your pack when you're on a long ride? This will work. The tools themselves are well constructed and sturdy. Having the chain tool and spoke wrenches are nice but I don't know how often I'll actually use them. And the spoke wrenches definitely don't replace buying some actually dedicated spoke wrenches if you're gonna do more than try to straighten a taco'd wheel out on a trail. But if you're looking for a well made multitool that'll have pretty much every allen key you could possibly need plus some other stuff? This'll work.

This is a great multi-tool. It will save your butt if you need a fix while you're out on a ride. It's well built and I feel I will keep this for a long time. It is very compact, especially for how many tools it has on it. It sits in the bottom of my small saddle bag well with everything else. I highly recommend spending a little extra money on a multi tool like this rather than buying a cheap 10 or 15 dollar one. When you find yourself in the situation you need a tool, having a good one makes all the difference.

I purchased this in case I needed to adjust or fix something on the trails. I'm new to mountain biking so I don't have many tools that can remove bike components. I've done a few things I wouldn't have been able to do since buying this tool. I had a chain I had to replace off my old bike, the chain tool worked great to get the old chain off. I sized the new chain and used the chain tool again to remove some links but it was very stiff about a quarter way through. I used some pliers to hold the chain tool while using the flask to give me some more leverage on the tool and it worked perfectly and I was able to install the new chain. I have also installed new locking grips on my bike, adjusted pedal pins, tightened some loose spokes. I am very satisfied with this tool so far.

Great array of tools on this. Used it in the wild a couple of times and it works great. I could get great leverage and the tool fits nicely in my hand. It might be a little heavy but I’m not skimping on ounces on my bike so it doesn’t bother me. Quality construction.

This has become my go-to bike tool for trail riding. The quality is superb, there are more wrenches on it than my park tool I-beam, and the hex keys are longer. It also comes with a metal carrying case that’s helpful to keep it from getting hung up on a bag or a pocket. The only change I’d make is maybe making the tools a little more offset to fit into those tight spots.

Worth every penny... case that came with it was perfect too, a little bit hard to open but no biggie. Excellent tool!

Had cheap multi tools before and upgraded to this and I’m very impressed it’s strong light and has a handy case too . Very well made

Non è il solo oggetto della CB che posseggo. La CB è una ditta affidabile, fa le cose per bene, pensate e realizzate. Questo lo trovo utile, come dev’essere, di dimensioni contenute (passa attraverso una normale borraccia di plastica che utilizzo come contenitore), peso giusto per la qualità di realizzazione e sufficienti attrezzi per l’aiuto che deve avere un oggetto “trasportabile”. Tutto OK dunque. PS per i più sofisticati ci sono pure diversi colori di realizzazione.
