Absolutely loved it. A great addition to the lore.
Whether you grew up with the games like me, or not, this is a great read. I have ADHD and it makes it incredibly difficult to read books. Not sure what the author did, but this was an incredibly easy read and very pleasing to the eye. I love the unique art style, and the addition to the lore that is much needed. It's very well written, and enjoyable. I do hope another volume comes soon! Those who love the video game, I can't recommend this enough. And those who have yet to play, definitely play it, as it goes incredibly well with this book. I can't wait to see more :)

Very cute story telling and lore-splaining
I like the hard cover, enjoyed a good portion of the writing. Keeping things in a nice loop. For people interested in game timelines, you may get your clarity with this.

Great small graphic novel
The product itself was great but when it got to my house the box was damaged. So the shipping was 3/5, the corners of the book were bended when I opened the package. Was not a big deal to him, regardless I gave the book five stars because my husband loves this game and he wanted the book.

Utterly Terrible Waste of Potential
What on earth is this? The entire story is badly written and entirely pointless, adding nothing to the games. The art style is strange for Medievil and quite unappealing if you ask me. Everyone looks like an ugly toy and it's distractingly bad. The writing is either a pitiful attempt at witty humor or is very dull and straightforward to the point of being boring. The story itself is shockingly short and does nothing creative or interesting before being abruptly over. It's a very standard "we broke the past by mistake and have to fix it" story that will not surprise you in any way, other than changing an aspect of a minor character from the first game that affects basically nothing at all in the overall plot. Weird decision considering the limited story time, but maybe they intend to use this character more in the future or something. Otherwise it's a bizarre and pointless thing that doesn't even make sense in the context of the first game. This next point is more of a personal thing for me as a fan of the series so it may not matter to you at all but I feel it's worth mentioning.Kiya's design is changed to be more conservative and she looks like a big blue baby for what little time she is present before being removed as a character. Especially disappointing because she was my favorite part of the second game when I was little and I hoped for her and Dan to have more adventures instead of a bad separation story that undoes the happy ending they earned in the second game, again for seemingly no reason. I have always been a big fan of her and Dan and it's heartbreaking for her to be changed and shelved like an old sock. It's very ironic that the introduction to Medievil section mocks her original curvy form and lack of character development before barely utilizing her at all and dumping her in the garbage.Brilliant.This is all to deliver a sequel hook for either more comics or another game and based on this, I wouldn't look forward to either if they were announced. The original creators have lost their original spark and I am sad to see it.

The comic of what MediEvil would have been there had been a third game!
The comic, beautifully animated in the proper style, continues the story of Sir Dan, our loveable jawless undead knight. Following being sent through time, he and Kiya(his mummy lover)are separated and Dan is summoned by a pair of wise cracking fairies to put to right whats been made wrong. Sent into the past and finding his live self(a far less heroic person before his death apparently), he must ensure that he dies as written so that Zarok is defeated.A great ending to the story, with amazing artwork and that old fashioned MediEvil humour. If you're a fan of the game, you'll be a fan of the comic. Only criticism would be it's a little short.
