An Accessible Account of Ancient Measures
Masterful condensation by John Neal of his reconstruction of ancient metrology, seen through the major civilisations which employed it. A well-integrated and produced book, written since his ground-breaking All Done With Mirrors, it is *essential reading* for anyone interested in interpreting the measures traditionally used in building since, as Neal demonstrates, only one metrological system has existed since earliest times, a fact that becomes self-evident the more one applies it.
