I bought this for my sons 8th birthday. Okay well, I bought it for me, for his 8th birthday lol. After the first use I accidentally broke off the bumper on it, but I took the other one off which makes it balanced again , and it’s actually really cool. Battery life isn’t the best , but it was on sale so I can’t really complain. You get what you pay for

Gave this to my best friend's 6-year-old, who had endless fun with it. The battery needed to be recharged several times but perhaps it lasts longer if charged for longer periods.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas presents. Unfortunately one of them looked used. It looks like someone used a sharp object to move the on/off switch. The black piece next to the USB was pushed in, probably thinking was the on/off button. I compared it to the 2nd one that we have and it looked perfectly fine. Despite this I let my son play with it. This only lasted 5 min. It suddenly shot across the room hit the wall and fell. This caused one of the wings to snap off...part of the wing was stuck in the toy sooo we can't get it out. I could have let the first two issues go because my son was enjoying it...and it still worked but once the wing snap...what's the point? I don't want a broken toy. If the company sold one without wings I would replace it with that. Instead I'm just going to return one of them and hope the other person who is receiving it as a gift won't be disappointed. Side note I also ordered a different one for my daughter who is a teenager and she likes (no wings) so both my kids play with that one. Now my son would rather one without wing attachments. I assume the remote control is to stop the toy ( this is based on the one I bought for my daughter) It is a cool toy and fun for everyone to play with... Ours came with a charge so you can start playing with it right out of the box. It doesn't come with instructions....but its not hard to figure out.

Our daughter loves this toy but it was not long before a part broke off. Now, with just a few weeks of limited use, and mostly adult use or well supervised use because she is young and we don’t want it to fly into our tv screen, it does not work anymore. Additionally, the on/off switch is tiny and very hard to access. And when it gets knocked around the switch gets pushed further into the machine so it gets more and more difficult to turn on and off. So if you are fine spending this amount for just a week or two of enjoyment, then this is a fun toy for kids of lots of ages. We were disappointed with how fast it broke.

The material is not durable, especially if it hits the wall or any other hard surface. The on/off button will get stuck when this happens. But it’s fun to play with for young kids like mine that likes to watch it fly and crash 😄

I should mention that we read the reviews before we purchased, so we knew what we were getting. We especially looked forward to zero instructions, as we enjoy a challenge. So first off, this thing does not work the way it’s intended to work. It does not fly away from your hand, or fly at all really…it sort of just…falls slower than it would if it didn’t have wings. When it does move in a direction, it seems to target humans and attack. So we decided that it’s fun as a game of “keep it up,” where we gently launch it toward each other and try to avoid injury. As an added challenge, the button on the remote doesn’t work every time. So you can push the button 14 times and nothing happens, then you put it close to your face and push the button again and BAM it magically turns on and you get razored in the cheek.Long story short, keep away from small children, hair, dogs, and anything else you don’t want destroyed.

Edit: upgraded my original 1 star to 4, sent company a message about the one received and they issued a new one, this one worked fine, kids had fun, I guess you take your chance if you orderDoesn't work, charged it and it just sits there. No noise, worthless and disappointing. Nothing worse than giving a child a piece of junk to open Christmas morning, how sad of this company to think this is ok just to make a few dollars..never again
