Vague instructions
Seem sturdy. However instruction very vague and lever very small so difficult. I am still trying to use properly

Not Suitable For Use
The ratchet stop on one of the units is jammed solid in the open position so cannot tighten around light fixture. I would be worried using these for any period of time as they look and feel cheap and the main casing is plastic.

These are sturdy and have held up my 50lb kayaks. I changed the cord with paranoid for more durability. My kayaks are now out of the way and hang from the ceiling of my garage. Saves a ton of space
