They work great
Works well connected directly to NAS drives (3x ironwolf pro 4TBs - in a parity storage space), and (1x ironwolf pro 4TB - connected to an old trayless hotswap cage). Copied 1.6 TB of data from the ~7.0TB storage space to standalone drive in 1HR 55MIN. The cable is connected to a LSI Broadcom SAS 9300-8i 12 Gb/s I picked up here on Amazon.

Somewhat Recommend
I bought this SAS breakout cable because I didn't want to spend the money on a SAS/SATA backplane. I quickly learned it's best to have a backplane! While the cable worked great, I had two instances where my RAID array was degraded because a power cable or SATA cable accidentally came loose. In a non-RAID system, one can simply re-attached the missing cable and re-boot. With RAID, each re-attached drive has to be fully rebuilt. If you are thinking of building a RAID array, I recommend spending the money on an ICY DOCK ToughArmor SAS/SATA backplane to prevent accidental RAID issues.

These Work
Finally found a set that actually works for my Areca RAID card. I've purchased a few that did not work. I recommend getting this longer length instead of a shorter set.

Cables are in perfect condition. They appear to be built well
Cables are in perfect condition. They appear to be built well. I bought 2 cables which support 8 drives. I'm using 6 for my nas and no issues with performance.

Works great for me and my SSD and mechanical RAIDs
Works great for me and my SSD and mechanical RAIDs. I keep adding drives to my RS3DC080 and expander card, so I keep buying more of these cables. No problems at all.
