Chessex Polyhedral 7-Die Gemini Dice Set - Black-Pink with White CHX-26430

Ok, so I'm not much of a fan of pink for the most part and I'm more along the lines of a tomboy than a girly-girl, but when I saw these online I was drawn to them. I was trying to find a new set or two quickly that would replace the ones I misplaced in a move (buried in a box somewhere, I'm sure). I figured I'd pick them up and if I didn't care for them much myself, I'd give them to a friend that I play D&D with since she loves pink, but they would at least get me through a game. When I got these though, I couldn't give them up! They are really nice and they roll well. In fact, most of the guys I play D&D with ask to use them when I switch die for a game. Also, my whole team has had pretty good luck with rolls using these so that just makes us fight over them more! I have about 12-15 sets of die by now, and this set is one of my two favorites to date. The quick shipping and price were also definite positives as well! 5 stars all around in my book!

So, my daughter is still in pre-school and learning "pre-math" concepts. Her favorite color at the time is pink and purple. And she liked playing with my vintage baby blue D&D dice, the kind you used to have to fill the number in with a crayon.For her birthday, I bought her these, the Pink Borealis and the Gemstone Purple 7-die sets along with the velvet dice bag.My daughter prefers the Pink and Purple sets, but I'm hoping, as she gets a bit older, these might appeal as well.If nothing else, getting her to sort the separate dice sets by sides or color are all part of the fun. She even made houses with the 6 and 4 sided die. In any event, these are quality dice, like the others by chessex. A little pricey, but the dice I had as a kid lasted 30 years, I see no reason why these won't.

Absolutely love the dice coloring! The pink and black swirls are very pretty. The only downside was the 4 sided dice had a weird extra chunk of residue or something on it that gave it a funky plateau on one face - almost like there was some plastic left from the extrusion into the mold. The numbering also needed a little extra touch up of white paint on almost all the dice, but not significant amounts of touch up. I got 1 of each dice as promised, so aside from the funky residue on one die, I'm pretty pleased!

I bought these to match a pink set and black set of dice I already owned (always looking to add new dice to the family). The d4 I received did not really have any black in it, but the rest are mixed wonderfully. They are very lightweight and have identified for all the 9 and 6 sides, making them really easy to read.If you are just starting out, this is a good set to look into first.

These dice are fabulous in pink and black swirls. The only real issue with them is that the color is a bit uneven. For example, the d20 has only touches of the pink in it, while the d12 is nearly half pink. They still look great and my wife was appreciative of them (I picked them out for her when I was buying myself some new dice) . . .Loses a star for the uneven look, but that's the only fault they really have in my eyes. They've got standard Chessex quality (no obvious defects found) and as such should be rolling for years to come.

I read reviews about these dice before I bought them and noticed some were dissatisfied with how much black was in it as opposed to pink or vice versa and was worried that might be the case with me if I ordered a set. No complaints about hard to see numbers so I wasn't worried about that. But the majority of people reviewing this product were very satisfied so I decided to take the plunge and buy a set to see if I would be so fortunate. They turned out to be way better looking than I expected them to. Pearly with the perfect, marbled color ratio. I can see why people collect these dice. So pretty!

This was a gift for a friend. However I have a few sets of chessex dice and love them. I have seen these dice in person as well and they are evenly marbled and easy to read with the white numbering. Chessex dice are very reasonably priced and the package arrived quickly even with all the holiday craziness that I'm sure goes on for them around this time of year. There is a set of chessex dice for everyone would buy from this seller again.

Really great! I love the color combination and it fit well with my character. However, the ink for the numbers is a little patchy in areas. Overall, a very fine set of dice.
