Heavy duty thick plastic for chemicals that might leach through cheaper grades
We live in the woods and I have many plants, including hostas (a.k.a. deer candy). The deer repellant products on the market are evidently like a fine hollandaise sauce to the deer b/c they don't work very well at all. I make my own in a huge stockpot and, after it cools, add it to this container that is substantial enough that the chemicals can't eat through the plastic. Works great! Valve seems fine too although I've only had mine for a few months.

No Spigot .
This jug came without the spigot that is pictured . This is the only disappointment I have .
