Work and Taste Great!
I had my doubts on this, but this thing is great!I got this for a Christmas present, and this was a great buy online, I will note that the price on these have dropped since their initial release. However, they are great, so do not think otherwise from the price drop.I always get the lowest fat content burrito grande size tortillas I can find (has to be 4g or less Total Fat), so that is the type of tortilla I use, I sometimes get different brands, but always the low fat ones.I got the pans and put them in the dishwasher to clean them (I always wash things before using them), plus these are dishwasher safe! I preheated the oven to 400 and put the shelf in the center (it did not state this, but I did to keep the tops from burning). I took the burrito grande size tortilla and pushed it in. Surprisingly it went straight in and held its shape (I was fearful it would just keep trying to slide up, but it did not). I will note that I keep my tortillas in the fridge until use so they were cold, in case that is what helped.I baked it for about 7 minutes and the tops were starting to get a little dark, so I took them out (I baked two of them). I turned them over the counter and they fell right out (pan was just as clean). The tortillas had a bowl shape and maintained it! The tops were more done than the bottom, so I just put them back in the oven and turned it off while I finished making the stuff to go in it (about 7 more minutes with no pan). This was my trick, it made them all over a golden crisp that was great!I got all the toppings ready (chicken grilled in the skillet, onions pinto beans, salsa, cheese) and took them out of the oven, they were very hot (which also ensured they were warm when I was done and served them). I put the pinto beans in followed by the chicken/onion, then cheese and finally salsa and sour cream (I kept it healthy, by using Fat Free Cheese, Fat Free Sour Cream and canned chicken; I grilled them in the skillet with no oil, so my high end non stick pans had to do their job)!Surprisingly, it was delicious! It tasted like the ones that you get at restaurants, but without the oiliness. I could break off pieces at the top and dip into the salsa and chicken and it was liked a nice chip and when I got to the bottom it had held its shape and texture and the beans did not soak through so I could pick it up and eat it.I am very happy with these and highly recommend them! They were super easy to use and created a great tasting dinner that did not take long to make but looked and tasted amazing!

Easy to use, Wonderful pans. Poor packaging - I received only 3 pans in one of the boxes!
These tortilla pans are easy to use, and when flour tortillas were baked in the pans at 350 degrees for 15 minutes make a really nice tortilla shell. Flour tortillas settle easily into the pans and come out easily when baked, no spraying or oiling needed. I ordered two boxes so I'd have 8 pans to bake tortilla shells for a dinner for 80 people. The dinner turned out great, the tortilla shells were a huge success. One box came with 4 pans inside and no instruction sheet. I am very disappointed that one of the boxes came with only three pans even though both boxes clearly state, "4 pans included," it did have an instruction sheet. I love the pans and the just right texture and the nice look of the baked shells. I don't like that I received only 3 instead of 4 pans in one of the boxes. I'd love to give these for gifts - but would be concerned that the correct number of pans or the instructions might not be in the boxes.

Well made, and very useful.
I purchased these as a present, but I have my own set too. These are great for making taco salads and bowls. We use them often. The salad/bowl is much healthier since the "bowls" are not fried, but you can make them to be just as crunchy. This brand is well made. I have been using mine for years, and they still are not scratched or bent/warped.

We really enjoy these!
Love these! We love salads in tortilla bowls. And sometimes ice cream with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Or even soup. However, if you buy pre-fried bowls they spoil rather quickly and often break before you get to use them. Not to mention they are fried and really high in calories. These work perfectly. The pros: (1) you can make tortilla bowls any time you want in about 5 to 6 minutes. (2) Your bowls will not be fried and thus are a bit healthier! (3) You control the level of crispiness. The cons: (1) These are nonstick and eventually that sort of finish scratches. Mine haven't yet though. (2) You need a pretty big cookie tray to fit four of these since they are fluted and shouldn't touch. Overall, I love these, they are easy to use and clean, and they work perfectly! Great product!

Great Taco Bowls!
This can't be a five-star review because I have the same issue everyone else does--no instructions. None. My pans came in the right box, but there isn't even anything printed on them about how to make the shells. Fortunately, some of the previous reviewers filled in that blank. I got some good tips on here, as well. So here's the scoop. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Nuke the tortillas for about 10 seconds each. It makes them pliable and they fit right into the pans. When the oven's ready, stick them in (I put the pans right on the shelf). Bake for 8-10 minutes (I like them crispy), then pull them out and put them on the plate. They're amazing! I made a chicken taco salad. It was really good. But when I do it again, I'm going to put the lettuce on the bottom and the refried beans and chicken on top of that. The heated beans on the bottom made the shell soggy on the bottom. Regardless...the shells were delicious. And since they're not fried, they're not heavy or greasy. One additional tip..I used fresh tortillas, and they shrunk in the oven. They fit perfectly in the pans when I started, and there was about a 1/2 inch gap from the top when they were done. Guess that's why they say big tortillas aren't a problem. I give these pans a big thumps up. Decent price and great shells!

Love, love, love it!
I have used this with small and moderate sized tortillas, with corn, wheat, and low carb versions of both. Works beautifully for all types of tortilla shells. You can spritz a bit of non-stick spray and put them inside the bowls without additional oils. You can fry them in oil and then place them in the bowls. Or lightly brush them with an oil and place them in the bowls. I usually put all four bowls on a cookie sheet to make them easier to get in and out of the oven. I have also put one or two inside the toaster oven when I did not need a full batch. Always works super easy. They never stick to the pans. I toss them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they come out great. Love them and use them all of the time.
