HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Sheet, Opaque Off-White, Standard Tolerance, ASTM D4976-245, 0.5" Thickness, 12" Width, 12" Length

I got the HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Sheet, Opaque Off-White, Standard Tolerance, ASTM D4976-245, 0.375" Thickness, 12" Width, 24" Length and it's exactly what I needed for some table saw jigs miter slots that I will be making. Product is sturdy and feels very well made. The only downside, as others has pointed out is that the measurements are 1/4 inch short on all sides, so you dont get what you are paying for or described, but it still will suit my use.

I used these HDPE sheets to make custom fishing rod holders inside my rod locker box. I own a 96 Stratos bass boat that did not come with any kind of rod holders in the rod locker compartment. I found several pre-made rod holders on the internet but when I clicked on the price I nearly wet my pants.......cheapest one I found was $189.99 plus shipping!!!! I finally found an article on the internet the other day where another brilliant fisherman used material like a cutting board to make his own........and let me tell ya, it worked perfect and it looks professional {not some kinda mickey mouse crap}!! The one I made can hold 10 rods & reels without any of them getting a single scratch. I first used cardboard as a template then I traced my design on to the plastic material. A fine tooth jig saw blade cuts thru this stuff easy, but does take some time due to the precise angles. I put pieces of fuzzy Velcro where the butt of the rod sits along with short pieces of elastic cord. After securing this piece in my rod locker, I went to a local sporting goods store and purchased 10 golf club bag tubes. I had the perfect size circle door knob drill bit so that cutting part went faster. After securing the front section that holds the rod tips........I now have a custom rod locker organizer for a total cost of about $75.00 and that's figuring in any labor cost!! Saved ALOT of $$$$$$$$.

I used this in a project recently to complete a plastic container. Half of the project used a 1/2 inch thick cutting board which was a softer HDPE and held up well to drilling. When I got this, I was a little nervous because it was shiny and smooth and I thought it would break when drilled and secured with screws. Happy to say it cuts well with a hand saw and when pre-drilled it holds drywall screws very well. Excellent project material and I will buy it again when needed.

I used this polyethylene (HDPE) sheet to make a base for yellow strobe that I magnetically attach to the top of my truck when I snowplow. The material was easy to cut and is ideal for outdoor use. I cannot say how resistant is would be to UV light in continuous outdoor use, but my application is only during snow storms, so it should last for years. Also at first I was skeptical that this product was polyethylene based on the feel and visual appearance (it was very shiny), but after accurately calculating the volume, measuring the weight with a precision scale and calculating the density it was a match for polyethylene (HDPE) and was not in the range for any other typical plastics like Polycarbonate (Lexan) or methyl methacrylate (Plexiglas), so don't judge a plastic sheet by its cover. I was considering a 5 star review since the following problems did not affect me, but like many other reviews the product is slightly less than a true 12"x12" and it does scratch easily. I assume the under size dimension is due to not accounting for the sawblade kerf during the cutting, so account for a slightly smaller size. Relative to the scratching, this material does scratch easily so if you are looking for a scratch free surface (which I was not) then look else ware. However if you are looking for a functional small (slighlty undersized) polyethylene sheet then this is the material you are looking for. It worked great for me.

I bought this sheet of HDPE to fill the gap under a faucet and mounting block (see photos). The sheet was exactly as described. I used my Dremel US40-03 Ultra-Saw to cut 3" x 3" blocks. It cut just like a piece of wood. There was no melting. It was easy to sand the rough edges left by the cut. The holes I drilled in it were smooth.

A little pricy but you get what you pay for. I used my 3/8’s inch HDPE as a base under a pool springboard where the old board had loosened and made a divot in the concrete. After epoxying new studs in the concrete, I cut the HDPE to size, drilled it for the anchors and placed the panel underneath between the spring and concrete. It has held up flawlessly and has brought the board back onto the correct plane and prevents any further damage to the concrete underneath and the inevitable chafing to the spring which results in corrosion.

Purchased for a project that is not yet completed, however, previous experience with the product indicates that it will perform as expected. I am using the dense, relatively rigid material for a forearm rest on a bench-rest pistol. Workable with wood-working tools enables me to integrate it into the wood forearm. The 'slick' surface should yield the performance I'm seeking.

HDPE Panel is ok. You cannot eat it easily. It is too big to chew in its entirety, but one may find occasional gnawing to be soothing. Does not come with handles or pressure release valves. These must be supplied by the customer. As one rotates the panel counter clockwise on any obtainable symmetrical axis, every 3rd corner to rotate past your nose is positioned 90-degrees to the adjacent and opposite edge as found along each surface. When rotating clockwise, however, and due to the rotation of the Earth, the corners will be alternate interior angles as outlined by infinitely extending the primary reference edges and will thus maintain the same degree relationship. Note: excessive rotational velocities may exceed the material properties of HDPE and may cause material failure. Caution should be observed. As others have noted, this panel is shipped UNDERSIZED from the description. I ordered 12" x 24", but received a 11.75" x 23.75" panel. This difference is not an issue for my purposes, but the product description really needs to be updated, and customers should know exactly what they are getting. I have a 0.25" thick panel. It is scratched and slightly warped, but most HDPE panels this thin may not be 100% flat.

This is the second sheet of this I've bought (first one I accidentally ordered to thick) both arrived early and well packed. I found both sheets to be well made and consistently the proper advertised dimensions. I've used this for runners on jigs to fit my table saw mitre slots and they cut easily and smoothly and slid smoothly also. They are plenty ridgid and aren't affected by changes in weather but unlike wood must be predrilled larger at least the outside diametre of the threads elsewise they will distort around the screw leaving side bulging large enough they will not longer fit your mitre slots

Used this to make a zero-clearance insert for my table saw. As mentioned by others, the sheet dimensions are nominal (i.e. rounded up), but the thickness is spot on. Excellent product, perfect for what I needed, will be useful for jigs, too. Easy to work with - can be cut & shaped easily with normal wood-working tools.

Marche super bien! Arrivé rapidement. La plaque est légèrement graffignée mais pour noj utilisation ce n'est pas important. La plaque n'est pas courbée. Se découpe très bien à la scie ronde ou scie sauteuse, peut fondre légèrement à la découpe. Utilisé pour faire des risers pour snowskate. Marche hyper bien!
