ELEGRP USB Wall Outlet - Dual 4.0A USB Ports, 15A Tamper Resistant Receptacle, Wall Plate Included, UL Listed (2 Pack, Glossy White)

These USB wall receptacles worked perfectly for my RV! I was annoyed with the lack of USB ports in my rather expensive RV. I looked in to a number of ways to add more, but most would require that I tap into the 12V system, which was a pain to get too. This option allowed me to replace existing 120V AC outlets with these outlets and offered me two USB outlets as well as keeping the original 120V outlets. Now the draw back with this is that they only work when plugged into AC shore power, but I had enough USB ports already factory wired to handle any boondocking I was doing. They were fairly simple to put in with regular hand tools. Carful we are dealing with 120V AC. I replaced six outlets and just love them!

Excellent product, they work fine

I have not been compensated for this review, but it reads like I was. A couple outlets in my house had become cluttered with charger blocks, which means the outlets were busy charging devices. If we wanted to plug in a lamp or a vacuum, we had to rearrange devices. I checked Home Depot and found similar devices, but they were 2X the price, so I decided to take a chance on these. I am thrilled. The USB ports have charged every device I've attempted: iPhones, iPad, Android phone (USB C, which I believe requires a bit more amperage), earbuds, bike light and a flashlight hungry for amperage. The USB ports are spaced correctly from the AC outlets, so my AC cords plug in and share the space with the USB cables. The designers of this product even thought out the features that facilitate installation. I thought I was going to have to pigtail the line conductor because I installed these outlets where they are not the last outlets on their circuits. I was pleasantly surprised to see the product accommodates 2 12-gauge supply conductors (I bought the 20A version), one for the outlet and one to pass down to the next outlet. These outlets solved my charger block clutter in both locations, which pleasantly solved 2 problems for me. I don't have to look around the house to see where my sons have hidden DC adapters. It occurs to me I could benefit from installing these outlets in several additional places around the home, so I think I'll add that project to the list.

Very functional, but only use on 20 AMP circuit breakers. Had to move two of them once I realized I had them on 15 AMP circuit breakers.

Have you ever realized how most items we use need an electrical outlet. If you opt for the traditional outlet with 2 ports you don't have room to plug items in due to the size of charging bricks. We changed the plugs in the master bathroom to alway us to plug items in when needed and also utilize tooth brush chargers and watch chargers at the same time. The product has such great value!

These outlets are great for USB needs such as plugging in neon products or other USB items. Have them in and around the bar area and rec room in the basement. They do a nice job in regards to charging and easy to install.
