Love it
My daycare kids (ages 1 to 5) very much enjoy this math toy. Super cute concept and a fun find for our unit on frogs. It seems to be sturdy and durable (minus the cards which we didn't use because of skill levels and I assumed my wee ones would destroy them quickly). A good addition to my collection.

Great counting tool
Really cute counting/adding tool. The cards are really flimsy, but you don’t really need them. The dishes come off for storage.

Not just adorable- its actually works as a true balance
I am a teacher and have ordered my fare share of balance bans. Most of them are hard to use for kids or just don't work right. Getting and accurate balance is difficult. This one actually does! It looks so cute and its a good price. I like that it comes with the number weights- yes those are accurate too. The math cards are a nice bonus. Most kits don't have the number weights or the math cards and are more expensive.

I am glad I bought this toy/manipulative.
I wish it was a bit more sturdy. Also I wish the knob to adjust the balance was not placed in such a prominent location. But it does teach the math concepts it is suppose to. I bought it for my preschoolers and we had fun playing with it. Q would drop frogs on without counting, but he was paying attention to the balancing. My older kids played with it on their own and came up with more complex balancing equations. One was trying to use just the numbers to balance the scale. Once I suggested leaving the 1 and the 2 to be the last numbers to put on the scale, he played with it for a long time on his own.

Great for teaching correlating numbers with their values
So far we have only used this for its basic counting function but it works great and I love how it corresponds the number with the actual number of items. Great for helping little ones to grasp the concept. My 2.5 year old son loves it and I can tell we will get lots of use for it! It isn’t super sturdy, but I supervise him with it and use it as a teaching tool. We have had it for several weeks with no problems.

Cool product but…
It is cheaply made like others are saying but it was cheaply priced. The cards are all wrong. The answer is one less than the real answer on all cards and they are thin. It is a really cool learning tool though so I hope it holds up.
