**Q: Can I use the magnet part for a “halfway open “ on an existing alarmed window**
A: Don't be fooled junk they are junk don't work...

**Q: Does it have an On/Off switch or a reset button ? Is the alarm noise loud ?**
A: Hi . . . this unit is merely a sensor that is hardwired to a homes security system (it uses a magnet to open/close an electrical circuit).  As such, it isn't a stand alone unit, does not have a reset button, nor any type of audible alarm.

**Q: can I buy for a wireless alarm system?**
A: I have wired alarm system. I am not sure whether it will work for wireless also. Looks like the sensor is for wired systems.

**Q: can i use it to trigger a strobe ligjt**
A: Would depend on how the strobe light was configured.  These sensors are intended for low voltage.  It will burn out if you are trying to run 110v through it.
