I wish I'd read all the bad reviews before ordering - they are all true.This is merely a shoddy, kids toy and I immediately returned it for a refund.Don't waste your time.

If this was made of a more robust plastic or metal, it would get higher score. Because although small it just means its more easy to control. Thats a big plus especially for kids. The pouch is small too, but this actually holds 8mm ball bearings more easily than heavier pouches. You just need to be delicate. The power is indeed good. BUT!..mine broke after several shots. I drew back the bands to reasonable tension and the fork head snapped off. Other: I didnt even bother with the sight. As with most Far East imports, there just isnt ANY instruction and felt it a precious waste of my life to figure out how to fit this. I dont understand why Amazon permit sale of products with no instructions. I would query legality of that and it occurs regularly for me

Sub standard materials used. Bits falling off immediately we started using it. Soon I will not be able to use the band gripper on one side of the catapult body. The laser sight system was a complete joke. It disintegrated after the first release. Not acceptable at all. On this basis I can conclude DO NOT BUY. I cannot vouch for its accuracy since we haven’t used it for more than 10 releases.

Having put this catapult together, which took some working out without instructions, I have tried it out and the most disappointing aspect is that 50% of the shots I have tried don’t clear the catapult clearly and bounce off the side. Not sure if this is to do with the small size of it or perhaps the elastic. It is definitely not a hunting catapult and the elastic is very thin so no real power. There is a much better catapult advertised on Amazon for £35, but not deliverable until May! I will no doubt return this as not fit for purpose

What I did not like or to even fix is the laser, if you try and hold the laser with the little screw ,it put it at the angle and no good, so I cannot use it so it’s a waste of time, and the little coloured rods are also no good as they keep fulling out or braking. I brought it because I liked it especially for the looks and the laser which cant be used, so if it can be fixed or replaced that would be great, but The catapult good thou, I hope something can be done or I might have to send it back, all I need is the laser to replaced or fixed...thanks.

Wow I didn't realise I was that stupid, I just bought a kids toy that was advertised as a PROFESSIONAL hunting tool, it has a laser sight that is about as useful as the handle that is built for a 9 yr old and avoid treading on it as it will break with very little effort, don't bother, I shall be sending it back.

Brought this as a little add on Xmas gift for my son. It’s smaller than I was expecting however, my sons hands are much smaller than mine so it’s not an issue. Solid handle with a nice comfortable grip. Easy to fit band with a level and laser for easy aiming. A nice little gift for the money.

I find this catapult very accurate or maybe that's just my good eye for a target. The first one I received was defective and the seller promptly sent a replacement which is good. So much fun to be had with a catapult, it is sturdy apart from the laser sight, I ended up glueing it in place as kept coming adrift. The handle has a nice feel to it, the bands are decent and produce decent power. Ideal for 8mm and 10mm steel balls. I'm very pleased with this as it will fire a reasonable distance. It's good value really.
