What I love about this coat is that it covers the belly of my dog so no mud etc to contend with. Perfect for wintery conditions. Haven't used it in heavy rain but snow and light rain it does the trick.

Great for keeping his underbelly clean and dry. I have a Maltese Shih tzu, but he's quite a big boy. Going on previous reviews I ordered the 3xl. Way to big! Sent it back and got the 2XL, fits perfect! He's 11kg. It's long and I was worried he'd widdle on the underside, he doesn't! He has a thick neck and as it's winter he's quite "woolley" so doing him up with the zip around the neck was a concern and at times challenging as he gets excited. But we manage. We've not been in heavy rain, but he stays dry in showers. Highly recommended. He and I both love it, washes well.

Great little coat for my dog. Had to buy a bigger size though!

Lovely dog coat generally, and keeps the Retriever reasonably dry underneath.But it's very awkward to get the dog into it. The zipper is quite small for the size of the coat, and almost always jams on the fabric part of the zip.Had to resort to using pliers to get some purchase on the handle part most times.Today the zipper just broke, with no other way of removing the coat in a re-usable way.Shame really, that such a good quality garment is let down by a cheap zip.

Got this for our Border Collie. We were uncertain which size to go for but got the 4XL which is just about right. The dog is happy to wear it and it doesn't stop him prancing around in the snow like a puppy (even though he is 11 now). The design is good although the hole for the lead is too small for the lead or harness eye to go through. This means having it partially unzipped when he is on the lead. It would benefit from having a much larger hole for this.

I got this for my dog as he made such a fuss about having the coat with legs put on which I prefer because it covers more. This one is so much easier to get him in to as he just steps in. The only issue I have is with the sizing, if you order the size for neck and girth it’s not long enough in the back. I ordered the size I thought would be much too large because someone I know also has this and she told me to and it fits perfectly around his body but it could do with being a bit longer in the back

Beautiful jacket but after only wearing 1 time on a walk the shoulder stitching has come undone . That's only reason for 4 stars
