Was thrilled to get these, for their generous size, the pure white color, and they feel sturdy and durable. Looking forward to BIG salads, grain bowls, chili, spaghetti, chicken and dumplings etc. Just have endless ideas for using them. Have already enjoyed pasta with pesto in them. they will also work as vegetable bowls for a large family gathering. I will probably end up re-ordering them. I bought this for large portions of homemade Pho since a normal soup/cereal bowl just wasn't giving me enough room to fit an adequate amount of noodles, broth and toppings.After putting in a standard portion of noodles, the smaller (and by smaller I mean normal every day sized..) bowls left very little room for broth and other ingredients. This would make my broth cloudy, and it would cool down too fast - not to mention there just wasn't enough. I also didn't want to sacrifice noodles. Bottom line is I just needed another bowl. This bowl solved my problems. What you see is what you get, it's white and large. The pictures don't lie and the bowl feels nice.

These are great bowls! Someone wrote a review saying they didn't hold 55 oz. They actually hold 64 oz filed to the top, and they are 8 in wide. They were very well packed. I'm a big salad eater and I wanted a large salad bowl. These fit the bill. They also fit nicely in the dishwasher. They seem to be of a good quality and well made, so I expect they will last a long time! I like the fact they stack so well too. The size will also be good for serving side dishes. I also think the price is affordable for the quality!

Got them mainly for soup, but can be used for salad as well. Easy to clean and pretty durable. PS. Match great with my current plates and bowls. :)

I wanted bowls that were big enough to hold a lot of asian soups I've grown up on, specifically pho. I didn't want plastic bowls and wanted something bigger than a cereal bowl and didn't want to feel like I was eating out of a serving bowl. I took a chance and ordered three sets to have enough for guests and these are PERFECT! Had them for over a month and we use them all the time. My hubby is rough with dishes in general and these have not been scratched or chipped at at all.

I love to pile my salads, when I make a salad I want a filling, colorful salad and this bowl gives me room to add everything I want and to have room to mix it up!

These bowls are great! Very nice looking and not heavy. They seem sturdy. I got them to replace our pasta bowls from our wedding in 1984, which were quite chipped. My husband is Italian and demands a “pasta bowl”. He is happy with these! Phew! The bowls are a bit smaller in capacity than I wanted, but go well with our current dishes.
