Daymellow Snow mushroom real soothing gel 300g

Long story short, this stuff works.Long story long, I live in a dry climate, am over 60, and had flakey skin on my face that was driving me crazy. I tried buffing, using thick night creams day and night, adding oil to the creams, and nothing stopped the flaking. Looking into hyaluronic acid, I learned that it was good IF you live where it's humid!! So that wasn't going to help. Then one evening, I watched a documentary called 'Fantastic Fungi' on mushrooms and got interested in how amazing they are, so I was looking into them. I was not looking for face creams, but I ran across this Snow Mushroom gel and thought, well, it's not expensive (like many hyaluronic acid products are), mushrooms are good for so many things, so I guess I can try it and see. If it doesn't work it's not a big deal.I tried a little bit on my wrist first to make sure I wasn't allergic to this new product. Nope - all good. So I gave it a try.Here's my night time routine: I wash my face with a quality soap, dry, then sprits a light spray of water on my face and add a pea-sized bit of the Snow Mushroom gel and let it dry. Then because I was doing this anyway as it felt nice on my skin, I smooth on 2 drops of a light moisturizing oil (by Ahava which I now see they don't make anymore! Bummer. I'll have to find something else when its gone) and go to bed. No more flaking skin. I'm betting if I just used a bit of the night cream over the top of the Snow Mushroom gel I'd get the same results. I'm not even sure I need the extra moisturizing over it, I do it out of habit and because it feels nice on my skin. And the combo simply works on my face. No more rough patches.I've looked at the ingredients and it has a tiny bit of hyaluronic acid in it but not enough to dry out my face (and this is also why I thought I should top the gel off with a bit of moisturizer as I do live in a dry climate), and I can't tell how much snow mushroom is actually IN this gel; all I know is it is working for me and I am very happy with it.Update: 2024, still using it daily and love how it works.

This is a pleasant consistency and scent. I thought it would have more effect on my rosacea however it seems to have none. Feels good to on your skin, no stickiness.

Love this product, moisturizer non greasey. Absorbs guickly.

Love this stuff! I add a few drops of argan oil and that’s all I put on my face. Will buy again. Great value for the price.

I'll never be able to say exactly what this product does, but I don't do very much with my skin (99% of time. I wash with different types of gentle exfoliator daily facial cleansers and then use this ) it has been the one more so consistent product used in the past 2 years and I always get compliments on how clear my skin is.I found this product when I was looking for a snow mushroom as a main ingredient. This one has an extract in a gel. You really won't find a better deal for snow mushroom than this.The product is very light. It's has a little bit of a small kind of cooling effect when you put it on, but that goes away very quickly + it dries down nicely. I often put this on and don't put anything. Maybe sunscreen if I'm going outside.As you can tell I'm not very consistent but still beautiful. LolThe price has gone up . It was around $11 around 2013 then last time I purchased it I guess it was on sale for $9. Right now it is at $15. I hope it goes back down or at least doesn't go higher.

First off, you get a TON of product. I use this in conjunction with the drunk elephant moisturizing serum and then layer my other serums on top. It feels like you are adding water to your skin, feels kind of like aloe but not tacky or sticky at all. I live in the desert, so this works better than hyaluronic acid does. Will repurchase for sure.

I use a few different Snow Mushroom products, but most of them are designed for the face and neck and come in very small (expensive) bottles. This product is a dream come true! Once it absorbs it's non sticky and it cools your skin on application. It doesn't have a scent which is nice (or if it does it's very faint and I can't smell it thanks covid). Honestly the bagged container is excellent because you can get every tiny bit out of it and there is no waste like in the bottles where you can't get it all out without a song and dance. Honestly, if you really want to get ghetto you can even do the ole toothpaste trick and cut the bag open at the end to scrape the inside. (don't judge me I know other people do this too lol)Anyway I can not recommend this product enough. For the price it's an unbelievable find.

Little goes long. This is the only thing does not give my skin allergy.
