Audio Control LCQ1WHITE LCQ1WHITE - Set of

This unit is a MUST if you're putting amps into a factory stereo system. I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee with the top end navigation/Bose system but the speakers and amp were showing their age. I also wanted to add a sub to put more punch in the sound. Without the LCQ1 it would have been impossible.I'm running the rear channel to the main input and the front channel to the sub. From the LCQ1 I am driving a Kenwood 4 channel amp to Kenwood coaxial speakers in the stock locations, and an Elemental Designs Nine.two amp to an ED 12" sub in a sealed box. It took a lot of tuning, tweaking and sampling but once it's all dialed in, the system sounds amazing. It doesn't distort at high volumes, the band separation is crisp and with the external bass channel control knob I can dial back the bass when I have the kids in the back seat.If you aren't proficient with audio and electronics I would strongly suggest getting this professionally installed because you'll pull your hair out getting it tuned just right.

I purchased the LCQ1 on Amazon. I had it professionally installed by a very experienced Car Audio Installer.We used front and rear speaker inputs, and tried to bridge the subwoofer channel using the Internal Jumpers under the cover. We had a problem with Bridging the Subwoofer channel, it would not work properly.The audio quality on the front and rear was sub-standard aswell, not impressedI ended up promptly returning it. It was refunded as soon as the Amazon merchant received it back.Subsequently I purchased an EQS instead. I have put a review on the Audio Control EQS. I would highly reccommend spending just a few more bucks and get the EQS, it is way better!The price difference on Amazon between the 2 units was $25.95 more, but the sound quality and adjustability of the EQS is far better!I did receive a prompt refund on the Unit once they received it back from me. I am impressed with the Refund with no Hassles.

The Audio Control LCQ-1 was easy to hook up and does exactly what I bought it to do. I am able to control the sound of my car audio in many different ways. There was a hiss once it was connected but I was able to tone it down by lowering my gains.

Purchased this product (received a dqdx instead) which is not a line out converter, even though then dqdx is a superb sound processor it's not a converter and would not work for my setup unless I purchase a seperate converter. I'm not 100% sure the one they sent me was brand new either. It appeared to be rewrapped in plastic and the blue paint was scratched around the mount holes like it was screwed in at some point and returned. I returned the dqdx and am awaiting a refund. I usually don't write many reviews but it was a product I was really looking foward to get and now I'm still listening to my factory radio lol.

Great unit, just what my 2011 F150 supercab needed to make my stock radio sound rock. Installed unit in glove compartment to drive a 4 channel amp for door speakers and the sub woofer amp and easy access for tuning.

Great peice of equipment, good stuff, great sound.
