Since the directions were fairly limited, I wasn't sure how to get started using the sharpener but it is easier that you would think. It does a very good job on garden tools and even put a nice cutting edge on other things too. In addition, it takes little storage room and is really easy to use.

Great to carry when you are working in the garden and need to sharpen your pruner blades. That's how I learned about it; pruning in a municipal rose garden and someone had one. I recommend it. Don't know what is meant by thickness but it is easy to use and the blades will not break. (easily)

This is a really nice sharpener. I use it to sharpen my pruners and clippers and it does a really good job. The only reservation I have about it is that one of the sharpening blade fell off the first time I used the product. Amazon sent me a replacement. I've not used this product for a long time and I wonder if durability will be an issue.

This works really well, particularly on my garden shears. It's much better than the smaller sharpener I had been using (easier on my arthritic hands and because it holds the blade in place, I'm getting a much sharper edge). Highly recommend.

I had this for about 2 years now and it still working great. Good quality and sharpens all my knives.

I couldn't use it comfortably because was not able to put it on the counter. Working on my hand it has lack of stability. With this situation I couldn't sharp my knifes neither my scissors. Maybe somebody is able to sharpen his items without stability.

I won't bother to return it because I can use the one side just like the standard simple Corona sharpener. No idea how to properly use the rest of it

This is easy to use and does sharpen, but the sharpening blade is weak and being notched by the blade it is sharpening. Also, the plastic holder is being cut away. I only use it to sharpen my leatherman and scissors.

Love it. Easy to use. It really sharpens.
